The Super Mario U ran great even before cemu 1.7.4 came out at solid 60fps with 4k.
Just watched a Video on Youtube and performance seems the same in Zelda like in 1.7.4 except that your fps now go slightly faster upwards and thats it.For me it looks still the same performancewise like the version before, which is garbage cause no solid 30fps and stuttering.
Cemu 1.7.5 Released for Patreons seems like there are some performance improvements, crack is on Mudlords blog as always, he made a new generic crack now cemuhack which should work with every version.
# Cemu detailed changelog for 1.7.5
# Patreon release date: 2017-04-23
# Public release date: 2017-04-30
CPU/Interpreter: Improved accuracy of various floating point operations (including correct handling for PPC's non-ieee mode)
CPU/JIT: Added experimental support for PPC's non-ieee mode
CPU/JIT: Optimized loops and branches by caching CR0 in x64 flags register if possible
RPL: Fixed a crash caused by too large SDA areas
GX2: Various optimizations for the graphics backend, including:
... optimizing the algorithm for vertex/uniform/streamout cache lookup
... avoiding all redundant GL state changes
... implementing OpenGL DSA for textures
... other micro optimizations throughout the entire code
GX2: Fixed a bug leading to corrupted shader cache files
GX2: Rendering to SNORM textures is now correctly handled on Nvidia GPUs
GX2: Fixed a bug in GX2ClearBuffersEx() and GX2ClearDepthStencilEx() where depthbuffer->clearDepth was set to the incorrect value
GX2: Fixed crash caused by unsupported vertex/geometry shader mode
GX2: Added experimental mode 'min' for game profile option 'accurateShaderMul' (see gameProfiles/example.ini for details)
GX2: Modifying the 'accurateShaderMul' game profile option now invalidates precompiled shaders
(No idea if that's meant to be public but CEMU 1.7.5 changelog in Google and that's about the first result.)

You should be able to get fullspeed most of the time with your sys just try it.
but is emulation worth it?isn't easier to just buy a used wii U,with loads of games from ebay or something?
Ok sry but that's a stupid question.
It's simple if you want to play the games now with good performance (if your pc isn't good enough) no bugs and in low res buy a console.
Emulation will get better though and in time it will be superior in every way.

Im running this on 1.7.5 and its a locked 30 everywhere except some vilages where it deeps to 25, but that also happens in a much harsher degree on the switch, other than that, it is fully playable atm.
As for the game, i think the high praise comes from the exploration aspect, it is one of the best exploration games i played for sure, this is like a light version of the witcher, mixed with a bit of skyrim and even a bit of dragons dogma, but its a fairly easy game, and relies on puzzles to pose a challenge.
Its more of a challenge to find out where to go and what to do than to fight enemies but its fun, the artwork is absolutely amazing, its a shame this game got crippled into such a weak system like the nintendo consoles, if this was on PC oficialy, it would be a looker, or at least not an exclusive to the nintendo.

"loads of games" and "wiiU" in the same sentence is a bit of an oxymoron
Owning a Wii U, I know all too well that the Wii U only has a dozen or so games that are really worth it and only a handful games that are fun but not essential. On top of that, because there's so few, the prices stay up quite high so buying them is quite expensive, even second hand.

I know, but there are still microstutters and a noticeable inputlag which makes it not pleasent to play.

i understand, the main reason for what i said earlier is that i don't own a controler(aside from the ps4 one ) and if i play games with cemu i would play with keyboard. So my next question is do they work well with keyboard or do i need a controler?

You definitely want a controller, playing with a keyboard only sucks.
x360 controllers are 20 bucks atm and are plug and play but that's just my preference use whatever you want.
I have them installed. The rules have the game version number ID in it. Everything seems fine but When I tick the boxes it never says "YES" under the Active column.
Anybody ran into this ? I have read a few things about it but still don't work. I even went into the cemu.exe properties and ticked display scaling...
Anyways, if someone has the whole thing working, can you please share the folders/files so I can try them on my side ??
Thank you

just rename the shader cache files, there all the same
Was that addressed to me ? If so I don't quite understand what you mean by renaming the shader cache files. Could you be more specific or show an example ?
Thank you

Ican do that, for example US Version of Zelda has the ID 123.bin and EU 456.bin. So you willmostly find the US one, but you have the EU one, therefore rename it just from 123 to 456 and youre set.
You know your ID when you open up the game in cemu,it will display the number in the top.
fyi use the transferable folder in the shadercache directory.

Ok I see, I will try this at home in a few hours. I'll come back with the results and questions if needed.

It says yes when you actually load the game you can tick as many boxes as you want but they only get activated when the game is actullay running.
You can get better and updated graphic packs from here: https://github.com/slashiee/cemu_graphic_packs/
Also one of you seems to confuse shader caches with graphic packs or something...

I have no trouble with the shader cache..I have a 11k file which loads perfectly and uses 16 gigs of ram after loading is complete and stays like this while I play.
My problem is with the YES under Active. I already have the latest packs and the version id I use taken from one of the actual files from the pack is 00050000101C9500 which is the same as the game version I have.
I did also tick the options and loaded the game after. Nothing. Did the opposite, still nothing.
So I'm kind of lost here.
Edit* Also if I use the latest cemuhook dll I can't select the Gx2setgpufence option. It's greyed out. I have to use the 1.3.1 cemuhook version for it to work.
Edit#2* Does the keys.txt at the root of cemu has to have anything specific in it relating to versions and what not ?

If it's the graphic packs for resolution and such they go here:
.\Cemu\graphicPacks\
IE
.\Cemu\graphicPacks\BreathOfTheWild_1440p\Rules.txt
(And a couple of shader overrides.)
EDIT:
And for shader data this is probably known already but that goes here.
.\Cemu\shaderCache\
Since 1.7.5 has fixes for the shader cache I recommend just starting over and the game only has ~9000 shaders anyhow so the bigger packs likely contains unrelated shaders for other games (One of the 12k packs had some Xenogears 2 data for example.) or you can use the data under "transferable" to build the cache anew.
(Just copy it to the "precompiled" folder.)
EDIT: And game patch data here.
.Cemu\\mlc01\usr\title\00050000
Folder here named 101C9400 which corresponds to the games ID, this differs between regions so EU, US and JP use different ones and also use different patches, I use the JNUSTool java utility to manage this.

Yeah I know, I copy the folders, they appear fine in the packs options in cemu, I just cant get them to activate no matter how many times I tick them / restart cemu and every other way you can imagine...
Edit* I also have this in the log.txt file in the root :
[13:20:46] Set process CPU affinity to CPU0 CPU2 CPU4 CPU6 CPU8 CPU:
[13:20:46] Using AES-NI for filesystem decryption

Cemu doesn't seem to be finding the game profile for some reason.
"[13:21:16] Game profile "gameProfiles\00050000ffffffff.ini" does not exist"
ID for BoTW should be 00050000101c9400 (US) or 00050000101c9500 (EU) too so not really sure what "FFFFFFFF" means but I don't use a unpacked game install so it could just be how it's meant to work.
EDIT: You can try deleting settings.bin and see if that helps, apparently this is recommended when updating Cemu although I couldn't find a better explanation as to why that would be.
Guessing you have set up a keys.txt file as well?
Something like this:
# this file contains keys needed for decryption of file system data (WUD/WUX)
# 1 key per line, any text after a '#' character is considered a comment
# the emulator will automatically pick the right key
D7B00402659BA2ABD2CB0DB27FA2B656 #Common
219FCB908520E9912D57444DFC136C23 #Zelda: Breath of the Wild US
But if you hadn't the game wouldn't start so probably not a issue.

Yeah I'll try a few things, thanks, i'll be back soon loll!! Gonna figure out that sucker!!
Edit* By the way, I have nothing under the title folder...
Edit#2* I tried to put in my game id into the log.txt file instead of the awkward numbers and save but when I run the game, it still don't show the options as active and when I quit, the log file reverted to what I put up there...Don't seem to save my changes for some reason and the file is not read only...unless I have to put it read only after the changes...Hmmmm
Edit#2* Yep, that was it!! The lock to read only log.txt file after modifying the id's
Thanks for spinning my brain!!
Edit#3* Damn!! It works for Super Mario U but not for Zelda!!?? Wtf!!?? I'm using the same pack which contains both Mario and Zelda!
Please note that I have version 1.1.2 of the game if that has anything to do with it...
