Played this game to death now, new chars over and over. I am now thoroughly bored of it. I tried the DLC, (Arena or whatever) but did not like that. However I love this type of game, apart form the usual suspects..Diablo,Titan Quest,Sacred 2 (not 3 of course!) etc. Can anyone suggest a gem I may have missed?
Don't let the cartoonish graphics in T2 turn you down, the game is excellent
Hello and thanks, yes I have tried both of those, as you say Torchlight 2 is excellent. As to POE, I just did not like it at all. Tried it since the numerous updates, but still not my thing.

Marvel Heroes was quite fun when I played it 2 years ago, but the recent reviews are not great, seems they changed it quite a bit.
It's free on Steam though, so maybe have a look at it.

Many of the bad reviews are the long time players that are bitter over the changes and feel that they were just console beta testers and think the bad reviews will get the Devs to change back to the old methods of infinite dash etc. The game is in a better place now then it was 2 years ago so if you like Marvel characters you may want to give it a try.
"Updated the difficulty curve such that the jump between difficulties is not as extreme. Difficulty now scales more with player level so that Elite and Ultimate naturally become harder as the player's power increases, resulting in a smoother progression overall. Note that there is still an increase in challenge when moving up to Elite or Ultimate, but it is no longer as severe."
Thank god, yes i know old news, but last time i played this game, i got stuck in Commander Lucius @ elite difficulty, game was pretty hard at times on elite, but when i reached that boss, it was basically impossible, it literally one shotted me (and yes i was playing melee character, and didnt have any major problems till that point). Difficulty progression design felt pretty retarded to me, that it was completely ignoring player level (not all people does every single shit side quests on every playthrough), which results then that mobs suddenly can be like 10+ levels higher than you, and you are basically fucked, if you dont have certain level at the start of new difficulty.
Anyway, gonna see today, if Commander Lucius can be beaten, so i can progress finally on this game without some horrible grinding that would take forever.

In today's livestream, we had a little treat saved for the end...something that's been asked about for a long time.
Today, we are pleased to reveal the logo for the upcoming expansion!
The next question is naturally going to be: Well, when's it gonna be released?
While we're not quite ready to give you an exact date at this time, Q3 of 2017 is still looking good with closed testing of the expansion well under way.
That said, we are going to take as long as is needed to make sure the expansion is a polished and awesome experience for you, and for that reason we can't give an exact day quite yet. You can be sure though that it will be released posthaste.
The next chapter of Grim Dawn's epic story will soon begin. Travel into the treacherous Ugdenbog and the fallen city of Malmouth in the Grim Dawn: Ashes of Malmouth Gameplay Trailer. ComingOctober 2017
The only problem I had with this game is insane amount of junk drops, hitting on my hamster nerve and flooding the inventory (I heard it can be disabled somewhere in options, but can't bother trying now). Other than that, a competent H&S, much better than Victor Vran and Van Helsing for example.

I never could quite get into this either despite the fact that I absolutely loved Titan Quest. I'm not really sure why, but something felt..."off". Perhaps it was because it really wasn't backed by awesome lore or voice-overs like Titan Quest was.
I suppose it just goes to show that a few veterans from a great studio don't make their new studio great by default. The whole being greater than the sum of its parts and all that.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.
