So if not wrist rests, then how about some long mouse pad /desk mat/whatever ?
Its better than just resting hands on a desk and should help me avoid desk edge and greasing up the desk.
Any recommendations? I guess it would need to be washable or not getting dirty like qck steelseries (small mousepad I own). I always vacuum it but I am not keeping my wrist on it
I could also use reommendation for a keyboard. Now have eye on razer ornata cause it have awesome wrist rest but I don't like clicky keys. My cherry mx with black switches is great but I don't like its industrial layout too much. Although I got used to is so maybe its bad idea to replace it.
Anyway - wrist rest/pad/mat first

Why these fuckers stopped producing mx518 and g400 is a fucking crime. No mouse have shape like this anymore. All they need to do is sell this thing wired and wireless and its a company for life. idiots !
edit: back to topic -corsair mm300 extended pad got my attention. Size is right, got stitching and the image is greyish with worn out look. So shouldnt be a dust magnet and look like shit like black pads tend to do after a while.
Anyone using this ?

Exactly !
I am not sure if I like the printed graphics but I bet it looks better than just black after some time.
Is the mouse sliding on it nicely and quietly ?

Pretty damn silent and I really like the feel of it.
Also the graphic is fine with me.
Here's another photo with a different angle.

Ok ordered this corsair mm300 extended mouse pad.
This stupid thing should match my desk exactly.
Hope the graphic will not be too extreme in person. Will post pics

Been using mouse gelpads since, 15-20 years back. Had one that started leaking so i was without for a month or so, it felt terrible, both that you have to rest a part of the palm against a cold and hard surface + i really like having my hand in the same height as the mouse.
