Those characters really destroy any setting.
That song choice...did they go with it because 'I'm only human sounds K00l in a saifai'... then again maybe it unlocks when you screw everyone over for the bang three achievement so it's fitting after all.

You know, even after you give up on a studio, if they were once great, there is always that piece of you that would like to go back and hope they can still somehow pull off something amazing.
Even though I disliked many aspects of ME2 and ME3, I still enjoyed the series a lot. ME1 was imho very good, especially for its time.
But looking at these fucking atrocious faces, I literally can't even. I just don't understand how they could not see how shit those animations are, how robotlike and puppetlike their characters look. Call me crazy, but the original ME trilogy, imho, had much better animations. These ones scare me.
Oh lord, that music is horrendous. And that basketball hoop villain....
All that's missing is a big 'MTV presents' right at the start, because that's clearly the demographic that the game aims to please with its tone, and it's not only this trailer. If we exclude some rare exceptions , we must sadly accept that AAA productions are no longer designed to please us, but the bar has been lowered as they're made for a younger audience, the so called Marvel generation.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Fuck all this Ign exclusives. Guess what the score will be...
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual
b: the use or language of sarcasm
They're alive BECAUSE they whore out to everyone and have no integrity.
That's actually a very good point.
GameSpot is headed the same way, no longer a 'video game' site, its a 'everything' site more and more. These sites going the way of the old video game magazines.
I prefer going to forums to read about games, or get videos and info from game studios DIRECTLY not via shit-sites like IGN.
You think? Outside Hump, people are praising it so much. NeoFag, Reddit and other social sites.

guys. Guys. GUYS. This looks amazing. Set phasers to fun
That looks good
Trailer looked great. Now to go to sleep Master Chief style.
Alright, this is it. My hype can't grow any more.I'm fucking ready for this shit.
Wooo! That gave me chills. All the hype I had for Me3 is rushing back to me. Regardless of how the game is, I don't think anyone can deny that the Me team knows how to cut a great trailer.
Wow, I don't usually like trailers with licensed music but this was so badass.
I'm loving that our old grizzled krogan is supportive of Kallo.
I love this because the enemy is literally just another race (as far as we know), very similar to humanity.
Not feeling that song choice, but that was a cool trailer. Game looks good.
Game looks great though. Managed to nab a few days off work for release, Cant wait!
OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD WE ARE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS FROM A NEW MASS EFFECT GAME AND I'M SO FUCKING PUMPED HNNNNNNGGGHHHH
I like it! For one thing, I really like the change of setting, no more "end of times" but still a serious conflict. Gameplay looks great, exploration and leveling up looks sound. I have moderately high expectations of this game!
I fucking love Science Fiction like Mass Effect. The idea of just exploring a new galaxy is amazing to be and I want to see and take it all in. Mass Effect to me is almost like Star Wars seeing all the ships and lasers fly around is spectacular. It actually blows my mind that there aren't more Sci Fi RPGs around.
....
Welcome to the new age of gaming.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
also gone are the days with those epic songs on trailers like from previous games, but then again with those character designs models and va why would you
We're turning into 'grumpy old men'. Excluding the presentation, one thing that no one can deny are the shitty facials and general animations.
Its the baggage and curse of having played original games.
Everything today is a rehash, a spiritual successor, a whatever - and younger gamers aren't as used to being exposed to 'WOW, I haven't seen this type of game before', or '"Wow that's a really innovative new feature'".
So yeah, our previous experiences taint us because we aren't as easily swayed; and usually we're right; its really just the same old shit in a different wrapping; once you've played a few hours you see the bells and whistles fading and the true formulas behind the patterns of gameplay. You learn to spot stuff so easily, I'm almost jealous of new/young gamers who carelessly move from game to game without feeling the need to compare.
I'm restless because I feel there's not enough progress and evolution. I remember thinking MMORPGs were the shiz, playing with thousands of players on the same server, yeah this is the future of gaming for sure. Now that's broken because the repetitive patterns wore people down, and too many clones of essentially the same game came out and over-saturated the market. Same thing happens over and over, now MOBAs have been a thing, then Battle Royale game, or "Survival" games.
What's really disappointing is when big, well-funded, experienced devs like BioWare can fuck up their characters and animation framework for a decade and get away with it. Where's our fucking 2017 standards at. Disgrace.
It is what it is. Is the game fun? Or is it Dragon Age: Inquisition's design in space. Grinding favorability ratings/terraforming suitability ratings sounds like a chore.
On the bright side, that's why I'm inside the Hump. As grumpy as it tends to be (and it does), it's still a better news source than any gaming site and a better place to talk than most shitty forums out there
As for the game... I guess we'll see in two weeks. I don't think I'll buy it for PC, but I might pick up a used PS4 copy or exchange it for something else (since iso demo is unlikely).
