In regards to the thread title, I just had a thought that there may need to be an * on the ugly femface statement. It's possible if you choose a BroRyder, even a custom one, that they will keep the default ugly SisRyder face. I'm not sure if they will let you customise both (like in say Fallout 4), or whether they will generate a custom face for the sister if you make a custom male. Presumably they will at least have to match the skin colour, unless DaddyRider was a cuck. Maybe I will make a SamuelLRyder to see what happens.

Minor spoilers for those sensitive to such things:



It seems like they have changed Turian anatomy to be more digitigrade:



Although as someone on the ME subreddit pointed out, the Turian squadmate still appears to stick to the more Human-like ME1-3 leg structure. I would have said that was due to ease of shared animations, but the Angaran squadmate also appears to be digitigrade.
