First few episodes are a must.
It shows variety.
Episode one has virtually no dialogue and just style+substance.
But it gives you idea/hope that the whole series would be like that which it isn't.
It's quite good.

Ah crap i allrdy suspected as much that 1 happy episode was just there to throw Jack even further in to despair in the end, damn i love this show so much i hope Genndy Tartakovsky gets the chance to do something like this again his lighter stuff was great but this season with it's more mature tone takes the cake.
Jack won't return to the past.. just kill/imprisoned Aku or even marry Ashi in the future(assuming she won't die after her father's death)
It feels to me that Genndy decided to go with the route of "give the people what they wanted.. But!"...
So its also means a lots the characters from the future will cease to exist...
In the end, it doesn't make that much of a sense because there is a Paradox...
I was hoped they will go with alternative timeline route, but because Ashi ceased to exist it seems there is no alternative timeline.. which means it's paradox and doesn't make that much of a sense..
