Paris, the times of the French Revolution. The Player controls a Judge – an alcoholic and a gambler - of The Revolutionary Tribunal. His objective is to preside over court proceedings, judging people brought in front of him – revolutionaries and their enemies, criminals and ordinary citizens. Along the course of the story, the protagonist will be expanding his influence over XVIIIth-century Paris, but at the same time will be forced to fight for the lives of his family and his own.

Not sold on the historical fidelity though: the concept art shows the deceased bodies of people who got shot, when the immense majority of the people convicted by the Revolution had their heads cut off with the guillotine.
It was even written in law, all people sentenced to death were to go to the guillotine.
We. The Revolution will be released 21st March on PC, Mac and Linux with Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions to follow shortly. It will be available for 19,99 $/euro both on Steam and GOG and consoles platforms.
