origin is amazing. best refund process in the whole gaming industry. If it had a larger game portofolio, I'd use it exclusively.

Yeah, had the same thing today. It seems it's a popup window in Origin that causes this. My router died on me and I got the popup that I was offline in Origin. While playing a game I couldn't do anything in that exact spot...had to restart Origin to fix the issue.

This was gone for me after disabling all the Pop up messages in the settings. For example when a friend joins a game and so on

Hmm.. maybe. I haven't tried that with Origin yet.
What I don't like though is that the cloud sync seems to be cross-client i.e it's stated as if unticking it under one game unticks it with every game.

actually that gifting stuff is great, not really needed since you easily can buy still via vpn (though since the new client is out you cant use the website anymore to only put it in the basket with vpn and login without any vpn to buy it) but as long as no other restrictions are added its ok

wtf is ea doing? new client update. downloads since 5+ min with 1000kb/s. have they now completely bloated the client with bullshit?
edit: jesus,. my fault. overlooked it had steam running which was downloading two massive updates... grr im getting old
