REDEEMER is a top-down action game where you will punch, hack and shoot your way through the enemies to destroy the power-hungry corporation turning people into mindless killing machines.
Play as an elite operative who once worked for one of the biggest arms industry corporations in the world. Officially working in security he was tasked with infiltration, assassination, extortion and even torturing. When eventually the company decided to get rid of him, he managed to escape to a secluded monastery deep in the snowy mountains. For 14 years he was trying to find peace and harmony among his fellow monks while still being haunted by his murderous past. But now it seems that even after all these years the corporation hasn’t stopped searching for him…
CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES
beat them to a pulp with your bare hands;
cut them open with a knife or smash their heads with hammers, pipes, bats, etc.
stealth kill them like a ninja;
break their necks with an extinguisher, run their heads against a cabinet and use other
objects around you to make environement kills;
or you can just take out your machine gun and spray every damn prick standing in your way!

Man, my wishlist is exploding again from all those games i added recently (334 now)
I'm getting there as well with 250+, wishlisting has become more like a habit (some sort of "I'm interested" button) rather than a serious way to consider purchases. Hell I'd need a personal bank for that
Anyway, this one looks pretty damn fun, definitely on my radar.

2017 is really crowded. Even if we get a huge number of postpones like in the last couple of years, we will still have plenty of potentially good games.
I'm quite enjoying the dose of brainless brawling (the "visceral"...and occasional derp next gen type), the visuals are pretty decent and there's enough physicality in the melee including satisfying environmental kills, along with the pew pew (not the focus, though mastering it is a must to survive).
It's rough around the edges and limited in scope, the story is forgettable, the enemy variety isn't exceptional, there are only basic combos and even the level themselves never really stray from the maze-like design, but it works for what it is. It's got remarkable difficulty spikes too that can cause some flipping of tables (not necessarily a con though ), but it's perfectly manageable with m&kb, giving it an isoride wouldn't be a bad idea in my opinion.
edit:
The 1.0 version had huge random framerate drops, but after the aforementioned patch the performance is solid for me (in case you want to give it a try, the guys at CSRin have all the goodies for the RLD release).
Rampant chaos, superhuman reflexes, and unrestrained violence fuel this savage beat-'em-up for players tired of mindless clicking and grinding. Armed with a full combat system including disarms, parries, and combos, Redeemer leaves little room for luck and weakness. Sharpen your skills and fight alone or with a friend to destroy your enemies. Fall 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
so seemslike console versions are delayed and releasing alongside PC EEpatch
Hmm, what's enhanced about it? It might help the game if they actually did something with this edition. I played it this last weekend and I think it's a pretty poor game. Super lame story and setting, uninspired and badly designed enemies considering it seems like they wanted it to feel a bit like Hotline Miami only they had no idea what makes a game like that tick. The worst sin of all? It feels pretty awful to play after having experienced Ruiner. Seriously, get Ruiner, play Ruiner, KILL BOSS! Don't bother with this. It's a decent looking game, it's got a cohesive art style at least, so I guess there's that. Rather disappointed since when I first saw it announced it looked cool.
