Oh for sure cybersurfer the Live aspect of this will own, shouting at your opponent on the headset whilst cleaving his skull in with a haymaker or if your bad someone doing that to you. 
Funnily enough along with Monkeyball DX, Round 2 was a game that I played fairly often over the christmas period. Only thing that I'd like to see them do with the game is provide a more enhanced and deeper career mode, add more strategy to the game in terms of how the opponents fight and there tactics plus provide more incentive for the player to use the jab/dodge in favor of brawling and haymakers. Harder cpu opponents would be nice too, I always fealt like I was dragging out a fight if I let it go over 4 rounds similiarly in over 70 fights I lost 0 times and was only knocked down twice, both of which were lucky punches on the part of the cpu i.e. sneaking in an uppercut whilst I was drawing back and unleashing a haymaker.
The game should be great though, in my opinion its the only EA sports game that hasn't been significantly bettered by other companies games - having said that there is no competition in the boxing genre and im sure they'll ruin it sooner or later.  |
The only thing that bothers me about the demo is....sometimes it feels a little slow and the models feel a little stiff. But it does give ya time to play defencive better though.
I will be buying this one for sure...not to brag or anything...I'm pretty good So bring it on  |

hehe, when I get a 360 and Live if I like the game enough to buy it then your on.
All this talk of whooping people at the game reminds me of the episode from HBO's "the entourage" where one of the characters enters a professional Fight Night Round 2 competition and subsequently gets whipped by a kid in the first round plus the scene where hes playing on Live and screaming at his oppenent on the headset and his housemates are like WTF.
To be honest I'd much rather play a new NFL 2K game on the Xbox360 with all the online options that the 2K5 game had on Xbox - now that was pure class. If they brought out that game I definetly would go out and buy an Xbox 360 the moment they were stocked. Obviously its not going to happen though as EA seeing that they couldn't seriously compete straight bought out the exclusive license to the NFL from under Segas feet scuppering what would have been possibly the best sports game and certainly best NFL game of this decade.  |

They had a side by side with the DVD version of the film, and the quality difference was clear and obvious. In fact, it was quite astounding. damn...I already got PGR3. They should release more demos of games that arent out yet like they did with Fight Night. Something like Gears of War or Oblivion.

So, now i'm starting to get interested in this gizmo too. I found where i could buy it but can anyone explain me, how does Xbox live work and how much does it cost? I'll just purchase a game card and plug in a cable and i'm ready to go?

main problem from the xbox360 is it doesnt add ANYTHING but lil bit better gfx to the games...from the first xbox... so il wait when M$ drops the price to 100$ or when some modchip comes out ^^

^ True - the only true innovative box this gen, is the Nintendo revolution. Though they try to gain market with "none-gamers" and girls. so this MAY not be the box for the hardcore gamers (i hope it will be though)...
My wish is that we'll see few exclusive titels for PS3 and XBOX 360. Then we can buy one and get the best of both worlds.

I think Microsoft inovation is Xbox live...which make games a whole lot more enjoyable to play.
The arcade feature is amazing too...I hear Street fighter is comin back...Now tell me it won't be cool to play against other live people. |
