might end up being good but right now it's weird, slow and kind of meh... fighting that hellbrute (some sort of a corrupted dreadnought) looks silly as hell, literally no power behind it. A single marine/inquisitor vs a dreadnought - I would expect the first to run around and cover instead of going head on.
I like the destructible environments and I like that the destruction looks different depending on the weapon used (like when he shot the pillar with a laser beam). But... the pace... is... *yawn*... so damn... slooo..... w.....
Now if they can actually fix those slow ass animations and give some punch to feedback of hits it will be fucking awesome (Gief Diablo III style combat animations and feedback).
They should have done it more like top down shooter with WSAD + mouse controls. But they used that shitty VH engine they've scrubbed together without really changing any mechanic and adding that limb damage which make it even slower when you have to target it and not die doing it
Can somebody explain what is the problem of game needing internet connection?, its 2017, internet is available even in Africa.
First you should explain what benefit a customer gets from single player being online only.
If you exclusively play single player, then there is no point requiring internet connection. The only good argument for always online is avoiding offline cheating. No one would play online if everyone was using hacks and exploits to superboost their character.
Diablo III was bashed for this, however there are no cheats or hacks or similar shenanigans there (except bots which are regularly banned).
