I'm pretty sure that i read in the past that this game will support modding the same way as the previous game(s).
So the D should have no effect in that regard.

I'm sure they know where their bread is buttered. Impairing modding would likely be a death sentence.

TWW has Denuvo and that didn't impair the modding, unless the developers fuck up badly, I see no reasons to worry.

It's not about modding at all....Tbh you lot sound like oh-but-it-doesn't-affect-modding-so-it's-A-OK. Nope. It's not OK.

The last few posts on the previous page were intimating that Denuvo would have some sort of impact on modding. That should not be the case. It has nothing to do with giving Denuvo a pass or anything. All of us obviously dislike it, but falsely attributing issues to it doesn't do anyone any favours.

Personally, I will just never support the type of DRM Denuvo is. Nor should anyone, but people are apparently fine with everything these days. Might as well make every game online only at all times at this rate.
DCB wrote: | I'm sure they know where their bread is buttered. Impairing modding would likely be a death sentence. |
Mods were literally the only reason to play the previous games, so yeah..
I'd be more worried about the console versions in that regard, though.

I care. And everyone should care.

What's worse it's that these particular devs have decided to spit into our faces. |
I hate to be the one to say it. But virtually all the things on that list are total shit tinfoilery that is seriously exaggerated.
The ONLY thing I see as a problem with the D, and is oddly missing from that list, is the potential issues with CPU cycles causing game performance problems. Oh and the Linux thing does suck I guess.
Lets be 100% honest tho, the main reason everyone hates the D is because you can't ISODEMO it. And while that is inconvenient, it is also something that game companies don't really want us doing. That is the only reason people hate the D, because it is fairly good at what it does - to deter pirates from 'borrowing' the game and, after seeing just how crap it really is (usually), then don't bother to buy it.
Oh and I suspect most here don't actually buy a game after they demo it. Occasionally I suppose, and mainly for multiplayer purposes. But otherwise I don't think many here could say (and prove) they bought a game, at full price, a week or so after release and demoing it.

People just love to make up rather idiotic reasons to hate the D. (Besides not being able to isodemo the game)
Can't remember people complaining on a forum about any of those points on that dumb list.

Well personally i keep buying games rather often after trying the isodemo for a bit. Of course only if the price is fair to me. |
I just feel better playing a game i bought, instead of playing some isodemo i got for free.

Denuvo actually made me buy less games,if anything they further incresed piracy then actually prevent it,as almost half of its games got cracked and we all now its still counting thanks to CPY.
People can defend it as much as they want,we now seeing its INDEED impacting legal uses as legit reviewers reporting limition with it
http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/ghost-recon-wildlands/artikel/ghost_recon_wildlands,52447,3310849.html
It will have backward support issus with future Windows, and it can limit linux and mac support as those platforms don't support it.
"Fuck Denuvo"

Almost every point there is true. And all of them are anti-consumer. I guess corporations plan is working seeing as even some humpers have clearly become indifferent to this.

Yeah, it's better to just abandon that topic for now since I suspect it may turn into an endless circle, like it's already happened in the past. Now if only there was a release date at least, or something resembling it, dammit. Cocktease: The Game

I'd like to see fewer non-generic NPCs; with actual unique multi-quest lines that once completed gave you access to IE: more troops, better troops, or unique followers, or weapons/armor/horses etc in the end. Like hallmark/epic quests you can embark on.
As it is explained in the blog it seems generic, repetitive, and disappointing. Doing this for each town/city, often seing the exact same missions with small variations like the dude you're fighting has an axe instead of a sword, or wears a hat instead of being bald doesn't help - and essentially it is the same task and quest every time.
I understand the limitations of a small team, so I question the need for a generic quest system; and I'd value very few, but unique multi-quests so much more than this system as I've come to understand it as a bit grindy(?) although I'm sure you aren't forced to do it if you don't like them.

Do we know if the game world is all pre-made or will parts of it be procedural (as in non-village or town combat areas)?

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Playable At E3 2017
Quote: | E3 is just around the corner now and this year we're back in force! For the first time at an event, we'll be giving hands-on demonstrations of battles in Bannerlord to the world's press. Look forward to our videos that will come out during E3 and hopefully the thoughts of those who try out the game! |
