Maybe try switching the TV port your 1060 is plugged into, I know on some TV's HDR only works with the first port.

Put adaptive v sync on in the nvidia Center just for the Resident evil. Exe and disable vsync ingame.
Like this Input lag in fifa and other games are gone for me. Maybe its helping here too

Its a fun and retarded game to play through in coop with someone when drunk, just dont think of it as proper resident evil.

I can activate HDR(AKA Deep Colour) on all my inputs, i don`t think the B6 is limited like that, would be insane considering the price and...eh status of the thing.
I can`t choose 444 in colour setting in the nvidia panel, only 422, 420 and RGB. Whenever i try 444 it just reverts back with no error message or anything.

It was great for 2/3 of the game. Then it took a complete 180 turn for the crapper to me. Still, have to say it was well worth the play and it felt the closest to a Resident Evil game in many years.
What I didn't like was:
Too little variety in enemies.
Too much ammo and too many healing items being thrown at me (even in madhouse mode which I've since tried as well).
Too short (I clocked in at roughly 9½ hours my first playthrough, and I took things REAL slow and methodical, collected everything).
Too linear and straight forward the last 1/3 of the game (which is why it feels so short).
Despite this, I enjoyed it a lot. That said, I definitely prefer the traditional enemies of RE1-3. What I want from a sequel of this is environments similar to RE2 and 3. I want city environments and collapse of society level stuff again. This more personal scale of story worked fine for this but I think Resident Evil works best when it goes a bit larger. |
It's a bit like the original trio in that regard although while you can backtrack to some amount there's usually no real reason to re-visit older areas for some minor supply item you might have missed only to run into some molded (Type A or Type B whatever their proper names are, regular and fast?) and end up wasting some more ammo.
After a certain point though it's very much linear until the end while the game throws larger groups of enemies at you to try and slow you down.
...Which doesn't happen because you'll be running your own private armory and pharmacy at that point with some 50+ shotgun shells, some 100+ pistol bullets and possibly more depending on what else you find and without too much difficulty racking up some 20+ healing items is also achievable. (And I healed like what, some 30 times because I had so many supplies I might as well use them.)
(Bit like the original trilogy, again. )
Good showcase of their new engine although yeah the game isn't particularly lengthy but I enjoyed it even if things got a bit more action driver the further into the game you went.
