finished it, wow..amazing game 9.0/10. What an epic journey that was..amazing how this was PS3 game, sometimes it looks just incredible. Can't imagine what they are going to do with Detroit..

It was amazing as a PS3 game back then and it still looks amazing.
When I watched early trailers of Beyond, I thought it was awesome graphically.
While Detroit does look good, I can't find it as amazing looking as Beyond for its time...

I wanted to add why I gave it 9.0 , cause controls were not that great, very often clunky and unprecise and sadly some gp repetitiveness. But the story, characters, emotion (I felt it, really) and atmosphere were superb..

I didn't knew about this game, but bought the collection and boy, what a BIG surprise. Decided to give it a go before Heavy Rain and caught me real good. Finished it last night and I must say it was a fantastic trip, especially if you play it with remixed story, as the events chain altogether so nicely, up to the end of the game.
Slightly reminded me of Quantum Break ( I guess Remedy took some inspiration from it? ).
Great game nonetheless, I started playing it with low expectations, but it proved worthy.

I just purchased this collection for my Pro, finished Heavy Rain a few days ago and its amazing.
Beyond Two Souls is even better IMO.
Must have collection for any PS4 owner.
But, i dont see what kind of inspiration you are talking about in Quantum Break/Remedy.
Different game and company.
But i can agree with you, with quality of story, writing, set pieces, motion capture yes very good story driven games.
But totally different... Quantum Break is a game (time travels/shooting and powers), quantic dream games are like interactive movies.

Don't know how to explain it, but playing certain events, it reminded me of Quantum Break, that's all.
Just started Heavy Rain and I think I should have played it before Beyond now - first acts seem a bit boring

Well this came out before Quantum Broken. So it's more like the other way around.

But he said that Remedy took the inspiration from it, not the other way around.

have a question :
does the Collection also have the behind making of feature for Heavy Rain , and the two new chapters that PS3 Move edition has ? I have that edition on PS3 ... the making of should be watched before the game ... if explains things that where cut from this game ( making itthe whole game incoherent ) ... deleting dreams , the mention the hero has psychic abilities and the accident connected him to the killers mind , cut why the female lead has insomnia etc...

I don't remember about the making of but the taxidermist dlc isn't included in the PS4 version.
Too bad but it's non story related so it's ok..

oh , ok then ... thanks for the info ... so in other words the PS3 Directors Cut Move edition is superior to the PS4 re-edition .... will take that in mind ... same thing was with MGS 3 Subsistence 3 DVD edition , compared to the Xbox360/ps3 re-edition
