I don't know how's the thematic tone of the game, but to stay safe, make yourself a compilation including Kraftwerk, Hackers' movie soundtrack, Hardware's one, throw some mr Robot ost into the mix as well and you should be good to go for a global hackspread.

Anyway, probably the cheapest place to get the WD2 uPlay keys are here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/WTTNVidia/
https://www.reddit.com/r/GameTrade/
There was someone selling the Nvidia promo code for 20$, but usually the price is between 25$-35$.
Just make sure to check and somehow verify the seller and pay attention to the list of scammers. |
thanks mate, got myself on r/WTTNVidia/ a code for only 22ish$ (paypal gift ratio)!

@Interinactive
So the MP has coop too?
I tought it just consisted of the same invasion-mode of the previous game.
If it has coop indeed: Do you play the story missions together, or are there special coop-only missions?

i'm also at around 30 hours and I haven't even touched the main missions. I'm just exploring the city, and collecting research points, cash, and all the ohter stuff that involve the cool jumper and drone exploration.
And the AI interaction that happens in the game is the best in this genre so far. for example, a gang member does a drive by shooting on a bike, kills one dude, drives off. the other civilian nearby calls 911. the ambulance comes soon after, the medic comes out, and you hear him call it in. dispatch, we were too late, the person was DOA. he writes stuff in his notebook/PDA, gets into the ambulance and drives away.
and stuff like that happens all the time. I spend hours just in the drone and spying on the events around the city.
haven't even tried even the MP yet. so I guess, i'm gonna get 50+ hours out of this game easily.
it's really staggering how many different ways there are to complete missions. i did a side quest where I had to phsycially hack a tower. the area was fenced off completely, with a ton of bad guys patroling. I simply hacked a forklift, broke some fences near the objective, and positioned the forklift to cover the objective from baddie sights. and then I just walked in and hacked it, completely avoiding any combat in a huge area.

The only thing that frustrates me is the invasion events. Can I skip them? They trigger automatically and block any other missions. |
They can be disabled somewhere in the settings. You can disable them but keep other online events active.

Typically when you look at yourself through cameras, you see a blurred picture and some error message. Ever since you deleted yourself from the database at the beginning of the game, it's a bit like you don't exist.
Personally, I explain it to myself by saying that those cameras aren't really present for the sake of security, and rather exist for the sake of collecting data. That's the main reason behind everything in the city (and behind ctos). Could also be that the cameras operate under the assumption that everyone is part of the database and the system is fully automated. If you're not in the database, you're not human, you're invisible to them.

So uh, the MP is kinda like the Dark Zone? You roam around doing shit, when someone does something naughty, you hunt him down for credits or whatever?

@EyePatchLives
No, it seems more similar to Dark Souls multiplayer.

What are they actually there for if not to spot intruders? |
yep, only times I use the cams are when you are locked into them in those mini puzzles.
otherwise just drone+jumper for me. reminds of of that awesome classic, project EDEN. would love a sequel for that game.

Is it fun? Can you get decent PVP out of it?
