I wrote about it before, WB are planning an all-female superhero/villain spin-off. Margot Robbie will return as Harley Quinn and she will also produce it. Birds of Prey and Batgirl have also been mentioned, although only Quinn is an absolute certainty.
The latest news are that Christina Hodson is writing the script. She is a relatively new screenwriter that is best known for writing scripts that made the Black List (Hollywood's "best" unproduced scripts of a year) 3 times, in 4 years.

not even remotely interested. they need to stop with these character ensemble films until they can at least start getting the solo films right to build up and define the their characters properly. Whoever is making the decisions at DC about their movie universe characters is a fool. Theyre trying to do too much without even being able to get the basics right like marvel did.

Called Gotham City Sirens, David Ayer returns as producer and director from Suicide Squad. The extremely promising screenwriter I wrote about above appears to have been shitcanned. Geneva Robertson-Dworet has replaced her, who has written/is writing various films, but none of which have been released yet (eg "Dungeons & Dragons" and "Tomb Raider".. yeah..). http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4039044/
So far only Robbie as Harley has been confirmed but the plural in the title means we can expect other ladies as well.
The studio is also developing a sequel to Suicide Squad and they are looking into making a Deadshot spinoff.

so now ayer will get to pick the actress for catwoman AND ivy... ugh this is worse than when snyder got to pick the actress for wonder woman.
i dislike two people essentially being the ones in control of picking the actors for the core of dc's upcoming franchises.
