Are Uplay keys ever region locked? Are there cheaper outlets to look for these? It doesn't matter to me whether I have it on Steam or not as it has to go through Uplay regardless.

there are no steam keys for uplay games unless you buy them directly on steam
and yes there are region locked uplay keys, or lets say there were cheap asia locked keys in the past iirc (they did it with the crew after people bought 15-20euro cheap asia keys, but only activated that lock for new activations)

Multiplayer was actually pretty fun in this game, makes me wonder if its going to stay that way and that I won't get bored after logging hours for a week or so. Assuming there'll be a pile of DLC classes over time, too.

and apparently some guy on neogaf asked various developers who started blocking him on twitter until finally reciving an answer on Ubi forums by community manager
