Desktop and notebooks but yeah ~20 MB here whereas I'd expect at least a 100 and that's only if it's driver files only without the extras.
(Unless this is some other tool adjusting some few files or registry settings.)

EDIT: Ah it's growing, it's still being uploaded. Smile
(32-bit for Win7 and Win8 is the full 300 MB and the rest are slowly being uploaded.)

I didnt had nvidia for years now.

What to set DSR smoothness at? 33% is default.
Any drawbacks to using vsync adaptive vs normal ?
anything else worth of mention ?

Adaptive VSync dynamically turns VSync on and off depending on framerate, it's not quite G-Sync but might help alleviate some of the issues reported with VSync such as latency or frame timing or what it was again.

DSR filter is basically the "blur" (Via some gaussian algorithm?) applied to smoothen the image so higher reduces aliasing but it's not higher quality or anything as the image just becomes softer and lower reduces this smoothing but can cause the remaining aliasing to be a bit more noticeable.
(33% seems to be a pretty OK default, higher is apparently pretty blurry and lower is only a bit sharper but also more aliased unless you use it together with temporal AA or just shader AA such as SMAA or FXAA either if the game itself supports it or via injectors such as ReShade.)

Far as other options go I guess shader caching might be of note as it can make startup and load times of certain games a bit smoother although it rarely improves overall performance but it's worth having on particularly for a few games that use a lot of shader data.
(Call of Duty titles for example.)

376.09 also supports Dead Rising 4 which will be released on December 6th, importantly this is the Win10 Store version with a 90 day exclusivity.

AFAIK you have a base clock (which runs in desktop for example) and then a boost clock (which runs during 3D applications). Basically the card has a set auto-overclock (which ironically you can overclock even further).
That's how it works if I understood it correctly.

nope, you dont have a base clock. ofc you have one but its not that easy. there is not ONE baseclock, its three powerstates with different clockspeeds. and if the card is cool enough while its used and isnt sucking too much power in the highest power state it boosts the clocks to a specific maximum (gpu and ram speeds). that max and the max power consumption its where you can easily oc the cards (and thats what the oems do compared to the standard cards, they just set higher values in the vbios for the boost (though they do set the highest powerstate baseclock higher too, but it in the ends its useless cause you want max boost and not max baseclock in p3)

Thanks. I've checked with GPU-Z and it indeed is boosting up to almost 2000. So it is working nice.

little below 2ghz is fine, more wont work stable most likely even with raising the voltage.think stock boost was 1905mhz for the 1060. so nearly 2ghz is fine as long as the card is able to hold that speed for more than 5 min

you are not going to go "hard" on it, if you just test out what is the maximum clock and leave it like that, you can max out the voltage and it will not damage the card any way. If you go below afterburner limits (a.k.a nvidia maximum voltage), then you can start worrying.

One does not simply buy custom cooled GPU and doesnt overclock it Laughing

How do I use forcing AA via control panel? It is much different from nvidia.
Enchance/override/transparency

and where is just plain full screen ssaa? Is it just for transparency now? or did they removed it because of dsr ?

for dx10+, AA forcing is pretty much dead.

SGSSAA is the one you want when dealing with older titles. it's by far the highest quality AA method in existence.

You kurwas aren't even using the (usually) included set it and forget it crapzorz OC tool? I'm using the gigabyte one, clocks usually stay around 1987 or 1595 (depends on the game), with rare 2012 peaks.

One thing I've noticed compared to AMD I had.
Windows 10 page file was less than 2gb.

Now with gtx 1060, page file is 6gb, so as much as 1060 vram. It raised itself after playing some games. Not sure which.
I am precious about space on my ssd, so what is general idea of page file on win10 ssd and what does that have to do with gpu ?

I just put it at fixed 4GB on my normal HDD.

Don't think it has that much of an impact on modern games even anymore anyways.

Seeing how the game launches tomorrow that issue with Dead Rising 4 seems like it should be a high-priority but I guess some hotfix release can always be put out if necessary.
