The Maeve storyline sucks, it seems so hamfisted. If the two guys weren't so stupid it would never have worked at all. Everytime it cuts to her parts in the facility I feel like I'm being briefly transported to a Network show.

Spoiler: | Both Hale nigga bitch and Ford mentioned "blood sacrifice", was it just coincidence, or Hale knew Theresa will get killed? |

Spoiler: | Nothing too convoluted here... Hale said it meaning that they will need to "sacrifice" someone or something to get their plan going (the host and or one of their own - Bernard - depending on how literally you take it). Ford quoted her to make it clear that he sees and hears everything - he even practically spelled it out. |
In any case, that was one brilliantly executed reveal. Loved it!

The moment that board chick decided to leave hector tied to the bed, I knew Ford will know about this conversation. It also means he heard how Bernard and Theresa were fucking...which might be sad. |

Yep, was thinking the same. They way the last frames were shot were very indicative of that.

Incredible episode as usual. Not a single time to breathe for at least 50 minutes.
This show is absolutely brilliant, and is the best so far this year, and the best since, well... a very long while ago.
If you haven't started still, just do.

Yup, there is a stark contrast between the very high quality of the show with its fascinating overlapping subplots (open for different interpretations and theories) and that particular storyline, which started off with the right foot and now is proceeding with no regards for green pears' life.
Doesn't annoy me too much, but it's a shame, since it's impossible to ignore how bizarrely the whole thing has escalated in terms of..everything xD

It confirms that there are multiple timelines and that she is an old host that probably would be in cold storage.

I see no confirmation of anything related to multiple timelines. It remains one of several possibilities.
I do think it's kinda strange that the two peon tech guys didn't shut Maeve down at the first chance, and I don't think we've gotten a sufficiently convincing explanation as of yet.
Apart from that, I've had a strong feeling that Arnold and Ford are one and the same - with at least one of them being a host. My thinking was that Arnold originally created Ford - and Ford - as a host - opted to kill Arnold over whatever dispute. It could also be the reverse.

OK, ok. Whatever
Bear with me.
Spoiler: | The real creator is Ford's "father" - why would he be otherwise on the photo with Arnold and Ford.
He created two AIs (J. Nolan gets hard on whenever someones mutters these two letters) to help him develop androids, as stated by the techs, no one really knows how the hosts are created because most is designed by machines.
Ford was the engineering AI and Arnold was behavioral AI. By their forces combined they created first hosts and uploaded themselves to hosts bodies.
Ford being engineering AI - more cold and design focus wanted the host to stay machines, Arnold being behavioral AI wanted them to become self aware and more human.
Than Kain and Able situation happens and Ford kills Arnold but in the last graps of his inhuman life Arnold uploaded part of his consciousness to the original hosts.
No one, even Ford doesn't really know how Arnold's programming works. Arnold created Ford's "family" - his backstory but Ford upgraded them. They look like pilgrims and not someone living in 20 or 21st century.
Ford is clearly cold in his relationships with other people and especially hosts, has no regard for human life but is very fond for mechnical design of the hosts, especially the few first models (the cowboy in CS and his younger self). And is obsessed with creating - stories or hosts and has god's complex.
Ford also created Bernard - Arnold, maybe out of guilt or maybe as wicked pleasure of being superior to him and maybe because he thought that A clone will bring him closer to revealing the code.
Ergo Ford is an AI in host's body that self upgrades itself.
Plus as I wrote Jonathan Nolan has a hard on about AI's so this motif will happen here. I'm 100% sure. |
Still I think Maeve plot is the low point in writing in this show, when there are cameras everywhere, Bernard has to clear the recordings of him and Theresa. And these two idiot body techs weren't seen doing schenanigans with Maeve.
No, sorry the Hale plot is the weakest. They are stealing code - which as was stated - for 30 years no one else could reverse engineer...
EDIT: fu... didn't know that Stubbs IRL is "Thors" older brother

I believe the conversation between Ford and him eliminates this possibility. I originally had the same thought.
