Wonder what the VRAM usage is, far as I've read it can exceed 6+ GB for 1920x1080 alone at it's highest quality level though it should be less when the actual pixel count is several million less. Razz

its' the same, 3.5-3.8gb vram in use on the 970. at 640x480 or 1920x1200.

The game basically reserves nearly all the VRAM you have, regardless if it's actually needed.

Resolution means jack shit to the textures, so it's normal to see high vram usage even on low res.
obviously there's a difference between 1080p and 480p in vram usage, but thats due to other stuff i think Razz

Could you share the save file of this exact spot? I've been doing mission 8, so I can't test the game there.

Cheers

Have you tried this?

Has it been suggested yet to disable ANSEL flags in NV Inspector? This affects the frame rate considerably.

yeah, I tried everything, I get 55fps there on 640x480 ultra, and 42-43 fps on ulta 1920x1200. Laughing

I mean, to be honest, the game is playable for me. in stealth mode, you move slow, and 45-60 fps is enough. I have no stuttering, and the mouse skipping doesn't affect me on a gamepad.

But if you go for a combat playhthrough, once those npc's clutter the screen, and you move around faster, triggering texture streaming all the time, you notice it.

I still do think it's unacceptable for a game to not scale at all. Try lowering detail or resolution in 99.9% of games, and you see huge gains. I think in gta 5 low vs max is a 100+ fps difference.

yeah, it fixed huge fps drops for AMD users in the throne room, and lowered the negative free look acceleration which makes fps fluctuations seem smoother Laughing

There still is mouse deceleration, controls are still completely sluggish and even though I have on average above 60 fps, the microstutters and jaggy controls make it feel like a 20 fps game tops.

I am very pissed for buying this, this is a very bad product imho. Anyone who likes playing with a mouse, avoid this like the plague.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I decided not to refund. playing on high preset, and dealing with 50-60 fps.

the game is just too awesome.

played like 5 hours today, and i'm still on the karnaca docks mission. the AI is much more enjoyable for panther mode than in the first game, and the amount of both horizontal and vertical exploration is insane.
