When is the D3D1 supposed to be out? (D1 remake in D3)

I know the necromancer is next year, but I thought the D1 remake was supposed to be out very soon.

I am playing through the campaign coop with a friend on his PS4. He is a crusader and I am a monk. We are in Act 5, around level 60.

Why is this game so easy though? Very rarely do we encounter a challenging fight, usually the enemies don't do enough damage to overcome the life regeneration even if they are dozens.

We have been increasing the difficulty every time another one got unlocked. We are at the next after Expert. Master I think it is called? And we are blasting through enemies like it's nothing. Weird shit.

If they're locked, dont worry, you'll reach a point where you wont be able to increase it anymore without a proper build

ppl don't understand that d3 isn't about leveling or story, its grind and loot fest post 70 (gear and build optimization), if you don't like that go play something else...

Clearly people didn't know that and Diablo series was famous for its rich and well crafted story. People went to play something else because the grind and loot fest was terrible, like the a game that was a crossbreed between MMO and console.

Oh come on, D3 is nearly 5 years old. It's not a MMO - you're supposed to move on to another game at some point. D3's story was fine for the first playthrough, the grind was fun in hc and seasons, but expecting it to last for 5 years is unrealistic. I mean, you've probably not been playing any of the other games released in 2012 (ME3, Dishonored, AC3...) until now either Smile

It's not unrealistic, I play Path of Exile each year for a good period of time and I've been playing this game since beta. ME3, Dishonored, AC3, etc. are not games meant to last because they are a singleplayer experience with lower replay value than a grinding gear game. Such a comparison is pointless. But I'm working my ass off during this PvP season of Guild Wars 2 which came a few months after D3. The problem is that D3 core was extremely flawed and the game couldn't be kept alive by a decent expansion and a few updates because its flaws caught up with them quickly.

My friend just bought a PS4 and there are almost no games with couch play. So we started a coop campaign of D3.

It is kinda fun but the balance is ultra fucked and the story is uninteresting. It's always Nephalim this, Nephalim that, omg who the fuck cares after the first 100 times. The previous games had so much better atmosphere and story. D2 is my favourite hack and slash RPG.

So we will finish it soon and never touch it again. Its only saving grace is that we can play together, otherwise who the fuck cares. I don't get why people grind like nerds for months in this thing.

Side note, it is almkst impossible to find a racing game with split screen, too, how disappointing is this console gen...

The game is cake-walk even at T13. Laughing So let's not delude ourselves saying that increasing difficulty brings any challenge. At this point, it's nothing but a brainless grind. Same shite over and over again.

I enjoyed the campaign first time. After that it got boring. Still enjoy the Malthael fight, though. Rest not so much.

Rifts are okay. Fun if you are in a group, else I don't see anyone playing these solo. It's just...boring to do 1000+ times.

Gear - don't know what the point even. Yeah, top gear is always nice to have, but what is the point? Solo is plain boring. In group gear rarely matters. You just spam and wipe everyone. Laughing

After playing the anniversary event (what a joke that was), think I'm finally done with this game. Embarassed


The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Their MMO concept of upping the difficulty and loot every once in a while is a terrible design choice.

The original Diablo games were so fun because there was a specific challenge ceiling - and the game revolved around designing the optimal characters to defeat the challenge as efficiently as possible.

D3 has become nothing but a loot-festy treadmill with zero skill or incentive involved.

I fear they don't even see it themselves.

Then again, why would they? They have millions playing WoW by doing the exact same thing with each expansion.

I guess people really DO want more time on the treadmill - after they come how from their real life treadmill.

It's like Blizzard don't understand anything else.

Also game is challenging, not at t13, but in GR 100~. Point is, it's boring as fuck though, sitting there 4mins with a boss doing almost 0 damage. You don't get to feel powerful .. ever, since the game doesn't have a ceiling = boring.

Plus, if you go on a break, gl getting back into it (bar seasons ofc), with no lifers at 4000+ plvls.

Because of infinite plvls and the shitty ros design, there's no more loot hunt. It's a +mainstat hunt which again, is boring as fuck.

Why is that (i.e., powerlevelers) an issue, when you can play seasons that allow a fresh start for everyone? I mean, I'm not saying the game is fun anymore - I've had my share of hours and am satisfied with amount of entertainment I got from the game - but if I were to play again I'd definitely only play seasons (and hardcore, but that's a personal thing I guess).

Ya but the mechanics are retardedly casual/brainless because at design they were "we don't want you to need an excel spreadsheet to figure X Y". it's just spending hundreds of hours doing the same things over and over with no real challenge because diablo?

Pretty sure they made it easier on consoles. Though it is still stupidly easy on PC unless you have all difficulties unlocked already and then it's just a pure numbers game.

The final part of the game was easy on Torment difficulty (on PS4), we briefly tried Torment III but we were not doing any damage lol Laughing

Anyway, we finished it, played the anniversary event until level 5 of the catacombs, then got bored, created a Rift, played a couple of levels of that and that's it for this game basically, I enjoyed it while it lasted (5 days I think) but I am not sad to say goodbye Laughing
