Well, the RU-PL version is 30 USD and the global version is 60, so I don't really blame them. Smile

Cards was a really stupid mechanic in the first game, I'm it was removed. And I don't know why Joe is so bothered by the number of banners or colors, those are there for the long run players and don't affect the gameplay quality in any negative away.

I felt the same way. Very Happy My impression of this game is very positive and I usually see a lot of crap in any game. Aside of the graphics, some netcode issues and a few other things, this game tops almost anything else in quality and entertainment value.

That good, huh?! Mr. Green

Might have some truth to it as I keep seeing new people every day. Reddit has at least some dozens of threads of people jumping from the CoD bandwagon and buying Titanfall 2. Besides, the MP is REALLY balanced. While the number of online players every day is small, it's consistent, I'm really curious how many copies it sold on PC.

How many people are online on average and during peak? Can you see those numbers in-game?

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

From what i've seen, Titanfall 2 looks better than CoD and BF1. Unfortunately the pricing and the launch date did not favored the game.

EA...Can't do something right even when they actually have something good...

On my datacenter (Franfkurt 2 - EU) I see between 8k-10k every evening. I have not jumped datacenters to check.

BF1 is a different kind of shooter this year, I can't really compare Titanfall 2 with BF1 since they are vastly different shooters. However, COD:IW and maybe even Black Ops 3 tried to put wallrunning in the game but BO3 at least did not favor this at all. No running routes like in Titanfall 1 or even 2, where the size of the maps is evident when you take into consideration the fact that the game was much, much slower during the tech test, and it was reverted to the speed of movement from Titanfall 1 after complaints from tech test players. My point is, it does everything Call of Duty tries much better and was in fact doing it before Black Ops 3 was even announced.

The multiplayer is not balanced. For starters, Tone and Legion are extremely overpowered, the starting weapons also behave much better than most of the unlocked weapons.

There is a lot of excessive whining in that video, but a lot of good points as well. I agree with Titanfall having better map design and that it was a terrible idea to remove the regenerating shields from titans.

Are they? They behave a bit better after the balancing patch Smile
AR and SMG are indeed better with starting weapons.

Yeah, they need regenerating shields. Not having fun with Titans because you get 2vs1 easily and then no more Titan for most of the bounty match.

Better maps too, and ziplines please.

It's intentional. Can't find the source but they explained this somewhere.

Of course it's intentional, that's why is in the game, but this doesn't make it a good design choice. Titans are almost as squishy as the pilots, how does that even make sense? Titans sometimes die on spawn, if you get attacked by two titans you are as good as dead. Unless you have a team of titans, calling one by yourself is a bad idea. How is that good design?

yeah, and then you have to hope your team has titans ready, otherwise it doesn't make much sense to call in your titan as it kinda just makes you a bigger target if the enemy team already has their own titans

this is more annoying in bounty hunt where people are forced to sort of camp

i'd play other game modes but here in asia they're dead most of the day

i hope they patch that and revert their design choice, since as of right now it's kinda hard to get practice with titans when you can't really pilot a titan for longer period of times. i'm a noob so it's hard for me, getting decimated by better more experienced players.

it's hard to play a ronin against tones / legions because you're just too soft. maybe if the ronin chassis had a faster regeneration rate, while the tankier ones had slower regen then it would make things more fairer.

also is there a way to see what titans your team has? it would help with teamplay so you know you're not going in with everyone a ronin. hard for me to communicate in game since players are either japanese / chinese with little english

another issue i have is the screen turning on animation when you get into the cockpit. it kinda makes it hard to see and identify threats properly

i like the MP, but it needs patching. and patch in custom titans as well. not a fan of the prebuilt titans. being able to customize your mech's loadout should be something in the game.

limited weapon upgrades / perks aren't that fun either.

hope one of the future DLCs addresses these things, and hopefully get more players in because i do enjoy the game, but some things are kinda getting in the way.

also wall hang sounded cool but that axis you're on

The core gameplay of Titanfall was just better, that map design was spectacular and the movement felt more fluid, you could aim better while jumping and wall running.
I'm ok with pre-built titans, but I would like more customization options for them.
I dislike the removal of the regeneration shield, not only it makes the light titans a pain in the ass to play, but titans in general are way to squishy.
I think not being able to shoot through friendly titan dome is retarded.
Weapons should have some unique customizations.
Some of the maps are not properly designed for the gameplay mechanics.

Most of these things can be fixed, the problem is Respawn is silent. They didn't said much after the tech test and they say even less now.

Some stores are selling it for $30 retail already and possibly lower with Black Friday sales.

It could be, I just know stores like Walmart have had it for that price the last few days already, I think Amazon even price matched it.

Didn't Walmart had it for $19.99?

I'll probably get it when it's $15-20. Should be soon enough.

In the meantime, I'm playing the first one (with the other 200-300 people Laughing). From what I've seen the multiplayer in the second one is not as good, especially because it seems they fucked the titans.
