Doubt they'll ever let you go that far in modern games tho, that RPG with a evil theme or tranny theme or what it was might be a bit weak too due to this where you're just "evil" in a humorous but still nice way.

The Frankenstein engine that they're using genuinely scares me, it was probably too late to use idtech 6 so they went for this ghetto idtech 5 solution fixed with duct tape. Let's hope for the best, after this year expectations performance-wise are as low as you can get
I'm not judging isodemoing, to be honest, the developers are kinda asking for this after all the false advertisement. I wrote an article 1-2 years ago about the lack of demos and at that time less than 25% of the games on Steam had a demo version.
I have to choose between this and Tyranny. I can't decide.
Tyranny.
DH2 might be fun for one playthrough.
But Tyranny will offer the much longer playtime and like other RPGs probably offer different events per playthrough based on your actions.
