What a great SP campaign So much stuff you wouldn't expect from a Titanfall game. It's insane.
I just started playing MP too and it's a blast as well (just like T1 was). I created an official NFOHump network, just search for it and you should find it easily in-game.

After watching some streamers I can say that I'm not interested one bit in the hectic MP side of the game (or any modern game, tbh - playing horde on GoW4 wasn't as fun as I imagined...)
Soooo... my question would be, how to play the SP for the lesser money? Any cheap ways of getting this only for the offline part of the game? Shady but reliable would do as well
I agree this game exceeds my expectations. Pretty polished SP campaign, the pilot moves + titan are great ingredients to make en enjoyable solo.
I have not tried the MP, but if it is as good as T1 back in the days, this game is gonna be the best deal among the end-of-the-year shooters.
Too bad it did not get decent marketing compared to BF1, COD and such

buy the game, download it, run it once. then you can go to offline mode/firewall origin and initiate a refund. it's automated and you get monies back within hours.
or something like anti denuvo where you pay 2 bucks for essentially the same thing as above.

Thanks DW, I'm afraid that EA would bust your ass after you log in again, even if you uninstall the whole thing, no? They'll get how many hours you played, achievements and that some extra cloud bullshit. Couldn't they de-fund you again?
i did it several times, they even offer one of the reasons for a refund in the process that says "i finished the game already"
you could play the game in online mode for the first few hours if you wanna look more legit and gather some cheevos that way so it theoretically looks less suspicious, as you have 24 since first running the game to refund. If you can finish the whole game in the 24 hours, no need to even go offline.
like I said, it's all automated, unlike steam.
last time I had the money back in my credit card after 1 hour and the approval of the refund took under 10 min.
they will never charge you retroactively, that's impossible. don't add your payment to origin to be saved there and you are fine. just don't do anything shady or refund 3 games in a week and stuff like that or they can simply disable further refunding for you.
for 1 game every now and then they won't care.
behave like a normal user, and no one will care. These are games bought by millions of people all over the world. you will blend in.
Two week open purchase and 24 hour if you've downloaded (played?) the game plus like you said it's fully automatic.
(Not many questions asked either, anything from the game running poorly to being too short is OK.)
GOG is pretty good too though and their terms for the new development project is very nice.
(14 days full refund period with no questions.)
I don't really have much experience with UPlay and Steam is probably among the poorer with a 2 hour play limit though you do get a two week period as long as the game hasn't been started and they are pretty quick even if refunds aren't entirely automated.
(But as a digital client yeah offline mode helps if you're careful. )

Damn, thanks for making it tempting... maybe I'll give it a go! I was always curious about the first game, only because the scenery. No MP will satisfy me, I'm a spoiled SP fart. If the campaign is as good as ppl are proclaiming the refund system is in for a treat!
hah yeah it's only natural to have concerns, it takes a bit to get used to the fact that consumers have rights
companies need to earn the privilege to keep our money, and we have the right to try their products. if they didn't ask for 1/5 of the average salary in my country for a single game, they would be closer to earning that privilege.
I will be doing it myself next week when I pay my CC bill so i'll report back how it went.
