I've seen some charts on reddit which indicate that the netcode is way better and killing a pilot takes the same amount of bullets as before reported to the new hp. I know Titanfall had some netcode issues but I played it a lot and I've felt that ttk was spot on.
At this point there is no need to switch between weapons, the ones with the fastest fire rate are the best by far.

Watch FrothyOmen's videos, he kills opponents with maybe three shots.

How well does the game perform in fidelity and performance on PC and lets say compared to BF1? How's the MP any improvements since beta? I never played TF1 and only played the technical test which I don't see me playing that for more than 2 weeks prolly.. SP any good? SP seems good enough to play through, didn't bother with the SP in BF1 tho. So TF2 = SP or MP ? BF1 should/could be my main MP game atm tho..

It's source and feels like it runs better than CSGO honestly. The SP story is eh but the level design is pretty great in some areas and really takes advantage of the movement in the game

Wow how shitty is this game? I get frame drops to 48fps sometimes, just for one sec or two but still.. What the fuck? And my CPU never goes above 60% while playing Very Happy Bf1 is way better on the technical side than this fuck Very Happy

Haha, for me its the exact opposite: BF1 ran like shit for me and TF1 runs 140 FPS on max.
Also people on reddit are praising that TF2 has such good PC optimization, so you seem to be the only one complaining.
BTW, try these launch parameters:
+cl_showfps 2 -high -windowed -noborder 1 -novid 1 +m_rawinput 1
It shows your FPS, sets game process to high, runs in borderless windowed mode and more. I also used them for TF1.

Alright gonna try the game with that, it just seems odd that bf1 ran so good on my system.. And I bet it cant be my system anyway, its not that I have a bad system >.<

These may be the words of a fanboy but damn...the campaign is beautiful. It feels like playing through COD4 for the first time. Only each level has a different mechanic.

seeing it has an sp campaign this time, might give it a "rental" for a stoner weekend playthrough.

Yes in one of the .dll files as it's the Source engine, exe just has Origin integration or something from how I understood it.

Bruh. It's on par with Doom. Probably better.

I find DOOM overrated. I get the appeal of the campaign, the good level design and that fast gameplay, but still, that game ain't THAT good.

Well, for me at least. Right up my alley. Funny, smart, engaging, each level is different and not the same shooty shooty bang bang sequence. Sure, you kill dudes, but there's platforming and puzzles and what not. BT is absolutely AMAZING and so is Cooper. I found myself laughing audibly at some of the jokes and interactions because they seemed so genuine. And you're not exactly the grunt you're in other shooters, everything that is asked of you...you can reply with the dialogue options which I have a feeling will only be expanded upon in future games. There's this exchange which seemed very genuine where Cooper, being a pilot for less than a day is moving and shooting on par with an experienced pilot squad and the leader of squad says to him "Good job clearing that <spoiler> and you can reply professionally or cocky but the voice actor did a really great job where he sounds really nervous to be praised by the leader of a great squad. In any case, it's full of little things such as this and tbh it made the campaign much better than any other shooter from the last couple of years except for maybe Doom with which is absolutely on par and even surpassing it in regards to humor and general execution.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts of this game Smile
I freaking loved the SP campaign. Completed it on Hard.

Btw, how the hell can you run the test track under 25 seconds? Surprised

Still getting those framedrops... Its not on every map, only on certain maps, but it gets below 60 sometimes.. Most of the times it stays at 80fps ... I'm not even playing on max, some settings are only on high :/.

@ClaudeFTW
Thanks for the detailed impression!
I already rather enjoyed the SP videos before release. Good to see, that in reality it's fun too. Very Happy

Still probably won't buy it - at the current price at least. As i have no real interest in the MP.

Fuck me finished the SP campaign in 2 sittings, easily the best campaign this year for me Smile Story had a few interesting moments and i liked the bond between the player and his titan. The gameplay was great and it was switched up a few times with some extra mechanics.

Played it on hard and it was still pretty easy though.

I dunno why people hyped up the BF1 campaign, this one blows it out of the water.

Yes, SP is perfect. Nice levels, good story, balanced between optional titan and on-foot combat etc.
COD can't get close to it, BF is just meh (SP-wise).

You can spare 5 hours, stop whining.

EDIT: Disappointing sales for what is a really good multiplayer shooter. Captivated me a whole lot more than the BF1 beta and for sure I will enjoy this much more than I will cowadoody 2016 I sincerely hope this game prevails.
