saw it, didn't like it
movie time is: 1h38
50min of those is nothing but charachter introduction. gets very boring, not so creative with the way he kills ppl either and last but not least, it's not scary, it didn't scare me one time neither did it make me anxcious or anything. Saw2 is much better.

do not be misguided by others poor opinions of this movie.
Its totally different from Saw movies, its based on real events.
see it, i promise you will not be disappointed.

Wrong turn was an excellent movie, I agree Wolf Creek is in the same catergorie however the difference being what happens in Wolf Creek is based on actual events.
Watch it just for the head on a stick scene.

We all know that movies that's based on real events has 1% truth in them, someone proboarly just got killed there and they did a storyline with some fancy killer out of it.

I liked it.
So the first hour is boring we get to know the characters but maybe this is why I liked it.
How many horrors have u seem where ppl get killed from the beginning, you dont know the characters so you dont give a shit?
This films different. recommended

Not Recommended. BORING..Enjoy the Australian Accents..Trash..First HALF of the movie was like King Kong - a complete waste. Picked up at the end- but still only a cable tv watch. So many bad movies out..Stay away..

My review (contains spoilers!)
 Spoiler: | Okay, were to begin. Only reason i downloaded it was because there was pretty many poeple here talking about it.. And imo it kinda sucks. I agree with the first part of the movie was long, but that doesn´t mean it was bad. Sure, it did take a while for things to happen, but that was good in a sense, i was always waiting for something to happen. The turnaround (when the girl wakes up in the shed) was good, but somewhat expected when they all fell asleep at that "psycho"´s place. Now, this movie suffers from what many thriller/horror movies nowadays do, the lack of surprising moments. When they meet the guy in the bar it´s obvius he´s up to something. And when he lies on the ground after been shot, OF COURSE he´s gonna come back! And other things, like when she finds the ID´s and cameras of previous victims, how could anyone just stand and waste time watching the recordings of the other victims? That is highly unrealistic in my opinion. And the fact that he got in the garage, got in the exact car she picked without her noticing anything? Especially that he was in the right car, seeing that there had to be like five cars in there.. And did Ben wake up after both girls were killed, while he was away? Why not earlier? And when he shot that man who helped the girl on the roadside, i mean come on! He stood exactly to the side of where he stopped.
What i do like about it that it was nicely shot/filmed. Some nice footage in there... And at the end there are Swedes who pick him up 
Based on a true story? Nah, maybe there was 3 kids who disappeared and one returned, but the other stuff seem very unreal. |
