Completely different note, anyone remember what BF4 default sensitivity was set at? BF1 is 20% and I couldn't hit anything, now I've dropped it to 10% and it's much better. DPI is almost the same as I used in BF4. Guessing it's faster movement of the soldiers in this game?
Still got trouble hitting with pistols, but shotgun is now fine and have even killed couple riders riding sideways close to me on sniper rifle. Do love recon flare gun, actually helps team a lot, but as there is no run&gun universal gun selection, need to get better (faster) with sniper rifles.
Might have to unlock the one with 100 damage on close range and go no scope crazy
I agree here.
I've been struggling finding the right sensitivity for my mouse on BF1. I either have it too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I need to record and playback some encounters to see whether I am shooting before or after enemies when i turn to hit em and mess around with sensitivity until i find that golden spot.
I never changed ADS sensitivity in BF3/BF4 and I seemed to do ok on those games so fairly sure its just me being older (slower reactions) and incorrect mouse sensitivity.

I'm using a lower % sens in BF1 compared to BF4. Also turned the ADS sens t0 80% where in BF4 I never touched it.
I also hope there will be 48players conquest large servers. 64 players is just one big clusterfuck.
Well good that it's not just me. I did drop ADS sensitivities to 75% as saw a video about it by xfactorgaming. Never likewise touched those in earlier battlefield. Seems to help with faraway sniping, but also seems to have negative effect on closer faster sniping, that I'll likely do more (read, likely die more).
I've yet to come to a situation where I'd need to do 180, if someone has shot me on back, I'm dead. So might even drop general sensitivity more and up ADS back up a bit. Did have my first kill trade in the game, not bad, considering it happened constantly in BF4.
Oh and for the pistols, only got the Hellfighters 1911, as it's pretty (and howdah for assault). Think I mostly used 1911 in BF4, but maybe it sucks in this game. Got to buy some other with more control and see if it's the missing link.
Tried stealth in singleplayer, another mechanic thrown there just so people could complain. The stealth is a fucking joke, the AI has linked minds, if one detects you, no matter how far from the rest of the group, they all know instantly. The sneaking around is a pain in the ass since enemies see you even when proned beyond rocks... But hey! Battlefield 1 singleplayer has stealth!
I get a bit of fps slowdowns when alot of things are going on in 64 player match. It wont matter if I lover the Resolution or tune the graphics down the fps is the same. Anyone having similar issues ? It's usally when I look at open area and it stays like that until I go somewhere to a closer area.
Of all starting weapons only the lewis gun is crappy.
And the progression is very fast, you'll unlock almost everything within a week of casual play.
Also your general level doesnt mean anything this time around, you need to progress withing each class individually.
Open up the console and type perfoverlay.drawgraph 1 to get an FPS counter on the top right.
Also, to make it easier use tab to autofinish the word, for example type perf and then press tab, then type d and press tab.
