Operations mode is where its at this time around, feels great to fight for each sector and move the frontline along or defend it.

Yep, operations is my new favourite BF mode, it's insane and you don't even get a second to breathe, with all the destruction going on in 64 player matches my framerate is taking a dive though.

I respect everyones opinion, but i have a hard time understanding how some ppl dislike this game, it is by far the best thing i played since bc2, ofc thats my opinion, but the MP aspect of this game is like no other, and this setting makes it special and refreshing.. everything seems very polished to me, some ppl complain about the design on some of the more open maps, but i think thats intentional, to have something diferent, i mean its 2016, we cant be playing the same layouts just because they are competitive, (dust2 24/7) and frankly this game was never meant to be played competitivly imo..

Its a lot of fun, i love all the maps and guns, the animations are stellar and like no other..its gorgeous.

The campaign is OK so far, its the only portion i think it was overhyped, so far theres a lot of driving in vehicles the first 2 chapters, and i dont know if its just me, but i just wanna be on foot and gun ppl down or do some stealth like they put in sometimes, but the graphics and atmosphere is top notch in the SP.

But what do i know, my fav BF game is BC2 and my least favourite is BF3, i actualy prefer bf4 to bf3.. so yeah ahah

Yeah, but the 'kill cam' can fuck with you. Several times it seemed like I got shot behind a corner but I'm guessing it's something else.

Edit:
Also, is anyone else experiencing that after they sprint and hit ADS it quickly aims down the scope and then back again, where you have to ADS another time to be able to ADS.
And the FPS counter keeps resetting for some reason now and then to where it doesn't show.
Another bad design I think they made is that choppy as fuck 'story' before each match begins because not only does it lag and I can't see anything other than a slideshow but also just annoys me.

The campaign is a joke. The story is meh at best, you are supposed to care for some characters that you barely get to know in 30-40 minutes of story. The AI is horrible with a basic behavior and capable to spot you through walls. The difficulty is ramped up through cheap means, the heavy dudes take almost an entire loadout to kill on the hardest difficulty (they require the same amount of anti tank grenades as an actual tank...).
The level design is the only thing worth praising, but that's because the singleplayer mostly uses the multiplayer maps because why should an AAA game with a price that ranges from 60 to 200(?) should spend any effort and resources in this. Anyway, the liberty of movement is there just so Battlefield isn't tagged as a corridor shooter, the investment in this is minimal.
But hey! It's got collectibles, that's great gameplay value!

I wonder what the journalists have seen that I don't. Maybe at the EA event the campaign looked better...

Forte et Fidele was fucking awesome, this was done so well and they also try to be a bit more mature, which I think they captured very well! The Gallipolli mission bit wasn't very good, felt very uninspired. But I'll definitely come back to this campaign, top notch stuff! Only issue I have is that videos fucking stutter in full screen but not in windowed mode.

Oh and on some missions you can't move at the beginning until you restart from last checkpoint.

@KC: I liked the BF3 campaign, BF4 SP was forgettable.

Operation is better than conquest, at least you know the direction snipers are Except k/d will go to absolute spaw die spawn die, that airship is hell defending.

Hit req was never an issue for me in BF4, instant death were. In BF1 beta I didn't have those, in full game they sort of are back sadly Sad MP 18 should take 5 bullets to kill, yet they get me with one (not getting hit indicators on others).

Last time I looked it was a headshot, ok fine. Next 3 no headshots.

Of course you could argue that I also have hard time hitting the players that do kill me fast. One was knifing a guy in corner, shot him with shotgun (same room). He does 90 degrees, dodges my 2nd shot and kills me before my 3rd one. Yeah, seems pretty legit.

Not tried MP yet, enjoying the SP too much.

Anybody paid attention to the musical score in this battlefield? WOW. Someone did their homework this time round, absolutely top notch soundtrack really impressed by the polish on this title so far.

Makes BF4 look like a complete mess even after all the patches. Nicely done.

From what I've seen, it's possible to try play every single-player mission by opening them through console commands in the "Trial".
So it might be possible to play the whole campaign for 5$ with Origin Access.

Other than that, yes, denuvo fucking.

I remember a lot of people were scared they had turned Lawrence of Arabia into a woman based on the trailers.
Nah, she's a Bedouin rebel fighting against the Ottomans, Lawrence is working with the rebels.

Also, looks like completing the Campaign + watching the credits gives you a gun skin.

Humpers are hiding under some rock (so no). Don't think they have all bought it yet.

Also finally noticed why I had trouble killing enemies with shotgun. The Helfighter shotty does 62 max damage.. M97 even less. The time it takes you to fire 2 shot, MP 18 has fired 10. Well unlocked my 3rd shotty, still no one shot, but at least 89 and it's the best damage you can get.

Mean while almost all sniper-rifles do 100 damage on wide range, no matter if you shoot in toe. Talk about balance..

I´d play all day but can´t afford it atm. What are the options to get it cheap? Buying from a cheaper origin store via proxy/vpn is a bannable offense now, right?
