These are the only TV's that are good enough for HDR, everything else is fake HDR, can't get bright enough, or has too low contrast for proper HDR

Panasonic DX900, DX800, DX750 (barely)
Sony ZD9
Sony XD93 / 94
Samsung KS series
LG OLED series B6/C6/E6/G6
Vizio P-Series

Jesus fuckin Christ these panels on new TVs are so fragile, fingerprints are making me insane..they come off but somehow not completely, I can still see small shadows. I don't now if these TVs have some special coating on screen or something, so much money for this fragile shit..

Yeah some of the high end Televisions use Moth-Eye coatings (Glossy + advanced AR), these are the best coatings currently available but they are very sensitive to fingerprints etc.

At first I tried with micro fiber cloth that came with TV, just plain dry..it was better but as I said on some angles I could still see it. Then I bought some cleaning fluid even tho it wasn't recommended and I made it worse Laughing , at the end I tried with a tiny bit of warm water and liquid soap and made it somehow miles better but after polishing it for an hour or so Laughing like some crazy person. Now Im afraid to come near it or even touch it...jeez.. Laughing

Bought a new HDR 4K TV! Smile
https://www.komplett.no/product/882259/tv-lyd-bilde/tv/tv-er/sony-55-uhd-led-smart-tv-kd55xd7004?noredirect=true

It was half price this weekend, so I only paid 5995kr. And besides I now actually work at komplett.no Wink (2 weeks now)

Anyways, NEVER again phillips! My last TV was part of the reason iv been using an 7 year old 40" sammy TV for PS4 gaming... The phillips 4K 49" TV I got had the worst input lag ever, even in gaming mode (makes it a little better, still makes most games unplayable). I wasn't able to return it because it simply was a bad gaming TV and nothing wrong with the hardware, at least that was their answer time after time. 3 new firmware updates did nothing with the input lag. Mad I bought it when 4K TVs was pretty new, but I wouldn't imagine the menu to actually lag when the TV was in 4K mode Laughing (just as an example, many more problems...)
The picture and all the unnecessary filters and what not could be cool enough for someone who just watches movies, because yes the picture was sharp, had good colors and the contrast was really good. And the TV had tons of settings... not that disableing them all made the TV faster, as Samsung TVs at least does.

When I saw someone say the Sony TV I just bought had very low input lag I just went for it Smile Finally i got a great TV for all purposes again! I knew Sony TVs was good for gaming, but this TV is just better in pretty much every possible way.

Looking forward to new PS4 games Very Happy

Not hyped but curious.

Will they present another gimmicky novelty console like the WiiU, or will it be a console with features that actually benefit the gameplay experience, rather than making it more annoying?

We'll see in a bit...

Only 20 mins to wait now. I'm looking forward to it. Given they want to launch the thing in Q1 they really cannot afford to NOT show off the entire thing properly.

Then again, this is Nintendo. They are retarded as fuck for the most part.
