I would actually prefer RDR1 remaster PC over a potential RDR 2 coming to PC.

(yeah I got RDR on PS3, still!)
That being said: Eh, too cynical to think it's going to be anything worthwhile. |
Your cynicism is definitely apt, the full reveal message was just leaked:

In all seriousness, as someone who has never played RDR because of the gamepad (and the fact that I should have had to buy a console), a remaster would be my #1 source of joy as well.

table tennis and rdr 1 on PC would be great. I really don't get why they never ported rdr. even gta 4 with its performance issues, sold better than chesseburgers do in murica.

Yea.
Aiming felt strange the first 1-2h. But then you learn to just tap the aim button to initiate the auto-aim process and throw headshots left and right.

a few years back i got myself a ps3 for a few weeks and played this, at first i was so frustrated by the gamepad aim that i turned auto aim on, i felt stupid for doing this but managed to finish the game and its a great one for sure and i will play it again if they port it to pc, properly this time with mouse and keyboard.

It's not only on Twitter, they plastered the website with it, made a Newswire article with no further comment and even have it show up as some kind of dummy screen (like full page ads).

There are still some people that don't think this means anything, oh well, they'll see. At this point it's only a matter of time until an actual annoucement for whatever it is.

Hhahahhaa, laughing at these people that pass this game off because it was on consoles. Your loss, suckers.

To be honest, I prefer Table Tennis 2 over RDR2 any day. I didn't liked the first that much. Its good and thats about it. Its nothing special. GTA with horses. I am talking about the gameplay here, not the story. I'll rather play GTA with cars rather than with horses. But this is personal preference of course.

Yep, thata a very, very, very personal opinion.
Might be one of the most personal opinions.

Sure, it was a good console game. Like Halo was a good console shooter.
Doesn't make it a fantastic PC game by any stretch of the imagination, though.
Story was pretty good, though.

That's why I used "good" instead of "fantastic".

What?
I'm talking about it as a PC game - which is what the sequel would be.
RDR wouldn't be "as good" as a PC game - so why are PC gamers pretending it's fantastic as a PC game? That's what it sounds like, to me.

There aren't many western games in whole industry. And RDR is a well done, fun (Personal opinion) game. That's why lots of people are praising it regardless of being a console game.
It would be great if they announce RDR remake for multiplatform and also RDR2.

Yes, I played it again on my XB1 - and remembered why I never finished it. It's just another GTA clone with a new setting.

I have RDR on my PS3 but stopped playing after a few hours because of the usual console shitness; blurry graphics, 30fps, sluggish controls and long loading times. I didn't think it was good enough to endure that.
