So, if we finally do see a PC release in the coming months I don't think it's too cynical to assume it's solely because of Westworld's popularity and only for this? I expect Rockstar will be riding that marketing train For a Few Dollars More. May as well, right?
Then again, I could be wrong. I guess it depends on two things: the agreement (signed in blood) Rockstar had with Sony/MS not to release on PC. Contracts can always be renewed, yes, but seems a bit strange to keep the console exclusivity going for old hardware nobody's buying now. The real disaster is if they've lost the original source code. As time presses on, if it hasn't happened already, the odds of that happening increase... tick, tock... tock, tick...tick... tock... tock... toc............ BLAMMO!

Pc was not even competition for them last gen if anything they would have tried to
get console exclusivity for them self.
I mean do you see a PS4/Xbone remaster anywhere? No? So wtf would be point of something like that ....
The reason there is no remaster for current gen consoles/PC yet is widely known and several times mentioned in this thread: the code RDR runs on was a total mess it was impossible to remaster/port it to other systems without completely rewriting it, even Lesley Benzey confirmed that back then after his split from Rockstar.

I really doubt R* is suddenly considering a PC port because a western style TV show launched.
Someone please explain to me why people are excited when it has already been mentioned that's just the logo of Rockstar Toronto, a studio that hasn't even worked on a Red Dead game before.
edit Ah, it's not Toronto's logo. I assumed it was because I found myself here: https://www.rockstargames.com/careers/openings/rockstar-toronto by googling and they use the same background. But no. They started using this background throughout out the whole website. Nothing to do with Toronto.
So it's either R*'s new logo or something to do with RDR or both.

I had Red Dead on 360 and I can't play it because aiming on a fucking gamepad is like trying to draw a dick with my left hand.
My biggest problem with the game, don't get me wrong I really like it... but that gamepad experience really taints it for me. Reason why I never gone back to it (well other than an hour or two before giving up).

I agree. I had a horrible time with the gamepad, but the game was good enough to keep me playing.
