had to do wsreset.exe because of some stupid ass error though, not sure what that was all about.

I just managed to drive around Surfer's Paradise without being CPU limited Shocked

Seems like the Ultra settings for Static Geometry Quality and Dynamic Geometry Quality mess the CPU usage up. By setting them below Ultra (and disabling affinity for core 0) I can suddenly reach 60 fps on the street with the tram.
If you try it, remember that the geometry settings require a restart to take effect.

Patch fixed my crashes's, thank god.

Performence is smooth at high preset and 2xmsaa, looks like some of the ultra stuff on static and dynamic geometry is the culprit for fps dips and stutters, but i rarely have them anyways..

It does not work that way unless they bought the digital version of the game, if they did you would see it under their account library in the Windows Store.

Yeah, I just realized Its under the windows store, not xbox app. Downloading atm. The question is: Do i login with my "old" account after I downloaded it to play it?

So I tried my first post patch session this morning. I did notice a little more hitching, stuttering then pre patch but it's far from being unplayable. Also no crashes at all in 2 hours.

I went to Surfer's paradise for the first time and I will say that even if the area seems more demanding then others, I dropped just a few times in the 50's but still averaging 65-100 fps more or so. It's better at night time off course.

All & all, I'm still enjoying it but they NEED to fix that photo mode of theirs. I take better screenshots with my phone on the screen then this!! lolll!!

Other then that, pure fun to just drive around and race. Very Happy

Is your friend playing the game on his Xbox? If so, that is the reason why as you cannot play it on 2 systems at once under the same Gamertag.

Well it is planned as a solution for all UWP games, Microsoft might try to patch it but considering their usual incompetence i doubt they will be able to fix it any time soon.

Somewhat Ironic Microsoft are "incompetence" when it comes to Windows's copy protection... the Xbone is pretty "secure" platform for now.. even more then PS4..

Tough team xecuter hinted they found something so it might be changed soon...

Closed ecosystem way easier to keep it secure, you really can't compare that to a open platform like PCs.

Quote:
Today we are releasing the latest update for Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. [UPDATE: Please note that this update will be released on Oct. 14 at around 7 p.m. Pacific]. This update includes numerous stability and performance improvements for the game across a variety of Windows 10 PC hardware configurations, as well as fixing numerous gameplay issues to improve game stability on PC. Performance and stability improvements continue to be a top priority for Playground Games and Turn 10, and will also be a focus of future updates as well.

In addition, we have addressed numerous gameplay balance areas in the game and introduced new Horizon Edition cars to the level-up Tombola spins.

1.6 GB update.

The game runs a lot better. FPS drop is still there but doesn't stutter much.
Photo mode is fixed.

The menu still not fixed fully. It no longer goes to 1fps but still goes to 10-15fps.
