It's fucking fantastic. Very similar to gears 2 and 3, so just crazy.
And performance is good. I am playing on locked 30 and game is never dipping below.
And that is on mix of ultra and high on my 2012 pc.
The only problems is textures streaming sometimes

Doubt there will be anytime soon. Forza 3 & Recore are both Microsoft games and have yet been cracked. Quantum Break & Mirror's Edge Catalyst have though so there might be hope for those who have not bought the game yet.

no, cause the answer is simply no since uwp hasnt been cracked.
as i said mirrors edge has nothing to do with those games and qb was only cracked after it was released as steam version (which will never happen to any "real" ms titles like forza,gow remastered,gow4,recore or any upcoming ms games like seas of thieves or to make it short: NO XBOX ANYWHERE TITLE WILL EVER BE AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF THE WINDOWS AND XBOX STORE)

Tbh I haven't encountered that many PC players. With Horde being cross platform, I saw probably 5 or 6 players with the PC icon at best.
If this indicates the player is using PC though. It may means that the player is the host, but I need to investigate further lol

The game is sooo good. I am on act iii and it feels like the same developers as trilogy. Happily its not a turd like judgement.
Its not as batshit crazy as gow2 or 3. But also not as slow as 1.
Shame 2 and 3 are not on pc

I tried GeForce experience with optimal setting slows down fps to 30 instead of 60

Yesterday we started the campaign and by the evening we reached the last act on the last chapter on Hardcore. The game is damn short.
And the campaign is nothing special tbh. Even my wife said wtf is this, this is not Gears, and she is not that much of a fan at all. In the previous games you could feel the no hope situation and how the faith of the whole world depends on you more or less. You feel the weight and how shitty the situation is - you can't go back, but the farther you go, you go deeper and deeper in the shit. And then after you beat the game you feel how the weight is gone, its over, you see how the characters are taking a break, everyone is calm and such. With one word: you can see the relief in everything - the characters, the world, etc.
Now its a basic plow through 9999 enemies to save your girlfriend scenario like in Final Fight, Double Dragon and so on. But in this case its not your girlfriend.
The robots are out of place completely and are complete shit to fight with. So annoying, especially the flying drones with the shield - Guardians or whatever. I felt the real Gears feeling when we started fighting with The Swarm. But again, they seem placed there just to fill the gap between the acts. Yes, there is something that I haven't seen yet, like they are preparing for war or something, but "its just not there".
GREAT game, no doubt about it. It plays great, its real Gears game in therms of gameplay, weapons, mechanics, everything in that matter, basically the best Gears game up to date, but the story is terrible. Also the character variety in sp and mp is A JOKE.
P.S. The Carmine cameo was bitter joke on player's account who happen to like the Carmine brothers from the past.
EDIT: WORST. ENDING. EVER!!! The biggest cliffhanger ever created. I hardly can call that an ending even
