Second only to headaches, it's the worst kind of pain you experience while sick. It's like there's a portal out of hell in my throat, and the demons have been told they will be free if they can tear through it. Isis would probably pay me many hundreds of thousands of dollars for the world ending plague I currently carry in my throat. It's like my cat has crawled in there, and someone's going nuts with a laser pointer and he's clawing the shit out of everything while chasing it. It's like ive walked through a desert without any water and now im trying to force sandpaper down my throat. It's like there's three simultaneous Michael Bay movies happening in there. I have a cough as well and I swear those fuckers are working together.
Why can't I just have the nice parts of the flu.. You know, the sneezes. God I do love me a good sneeze.... But I fear the next sneeze I have might actually finish me off and blow out my raw and ragged throat meat.
I also developed an ear ache in the last few hours. The fun never stops. Weeeeeeee.

Get some coughing syrup or put like honey in your tea or something that usually helps a lot with throat pain.
A serious ear infection though... i think you wanna readjust your top 3 if that really hits in. Anyway, get better.

Gargle with salt water chiv. And it has to be really salty (just don't swallow it).

Yeah, also honey & ginger teas  (if you are particularly nasty you can also put onion and garlic in it  )

Add some medical spirit on a clean cloth and wrap it around your neck with the spirit facing the aching part. Do it for when you don't speak, preferably during sleep.
