It seems that the Rambo approach will be the only viable solution (or at least the less flabby one), as from the looks of it, the optional stealth involves the trademark deaf AI with zero peripheral vision/awareness, and thugs always conveniently turning their back to the player waiting to receive the awesome takedown button
