Tried my wheel. As shitty as it feels it's still pretty damn fun. Makes me realise how insanely good a sim would be in this style. A man can dream Crying or Very sad

does it get challenging later on? Played first two missions, and driving is ultra easy even on hardcore preset, and crashing into the fence doesn't even lose you a place, it barely slows you down.

Runs great at least. maxed+fxaa@1920x1200, constant 60 fps on a 970. no notice yet of any issues with stuttering or whatever people are getting. i'll record some gameplay once I open up the game map more.

cockpit view is a plus, but damn the driving model seems terrible so far. makes nfs games feel realistic. I hope that's just the tutorial part.

Will play more after I finish Deus Ex.

Probably not. As you upgrade your car the speeds go up significantly, but so does the grip, so it shouldn't be A LOT more challenging.
I guess the real challenge lies in racing other people. And probably the police chases, but I have a feeling they're not as fun as in the old NFS Most Wanted.

So let me get this straight.

I got season pass.
Then I got the expansion.
And now I have to rebuy calling all units? Because fuck you give us money?

But, if you buy Calling all units, you get Wild Run automatically. So season pass is a no buy. Laughing

The only thing I liked about it and would like to see again was the big map and open world free roam racing with friends. Story and races were kinda shit and kinda the controls too, unless you tweak them.

TBH i don't really like a free-roam mode ina pure car-driving game.
I would prefer something like GTA instead, where you can also fuck around outside the car.

Also i would like a nice new NFS: Hot Pursuit without any of the recent games hipster and social crap. Embarassed Sad

No it was not. It was just something that was on "trend" in that year. Dunno if you noticed, but EA does racing games based on what the current trend is.

Bought it on Steam last year for a few euros and haven't even tried it. Not sure if I should request a refund or play it for one weekend and forget it Laughing
