So my brother and I play alot of games with Raspberry Retropie. I would love to be able to record to my pc (with our voices while we play it) - so ive been looking around for a card to help me out.
The thing is, there are quite alot of external hardware to do so - but for me its more or less a djungle.
Surely some of you know more about this than I do and is willing to help me find a good one. (I doubt I need one with 60fps for old games - but what do I know?)

lucky you I did research for a few days already for a co-worker who wants a capture card.
Elgato makes some of the best. Enjoy. There's an internal PCI card as well you can use.
They aren't limited to Playstation and Xbox, it's just how it's worded since that's what most people want it for. Basically you just plug an HDMI from your source into it and you're good to go.
You should have gotten a USB 3.0 solution (no matter which manufacturer).
PCIe will be non-future proof.
USB devices can be switched from any device PC, nuc, laptop, Mac, ... there's more options!
Ive got 4 external drives, a steeringwheel, joystick, oculus, keyboard, mouse, controller reciever, cam, microphone and ledlights connected through usb. I dont need more cables
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
