The film was nice overall and it had some great scenes (Magneto's daughter, for instance) however I really didn't like them mutants Apocalypse got as his 4 riders (well, except for Magneto , of course). They looked ridiculous( as Apocalypse) especially the angel dude.
PS Evan Peters was great And dat scene when he got to the university was fantastic. | I also liked it, but the plot was a big mess. This could have been a great X-Men Movie, but I guess they had too many script writers working on it?

Sounds not that bad then, I'm going to watch it tonight.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

@PumpAction
Yeah the plot was a mess.

I've never understood why Hollywood having practically infinite money can't get proper writers to write proper stories. Instead we have some ridiculous shit that a 10 year old retard could come up with. Maybe they are afraid these films won't sell well then?

Hardcode Henry 7/10
Nice graphics, clever AI, not a lot of replay value though
It's about 15 minutes too long, I think, but overall it keeps your interest throughout, not unlike the Crank movies. The final fight on the roof was a bit too much, although I did like the graphic violence and gore, pretty well made, and obviously very much inspired by FPS games.
Kicking around a motorcycle helmet with severed head still inside, that reminded me of one of Robbaz' Far Cry videos

Crank is much better IMHO.
Regarding X-Men:
Spoiler: | WTF was Psylocke about? Her role was so tiny tiny tiny!
And the biggest flaw of the movie were the inconsistent usage of their super powers. The ultra fast guy could have just solved all of their problems, yet he just punches people in their face. Apparently in ultra speed mode he also has ultra strong powers (he must be 10.000 times stronger than any other being to actually move all the heavy stuff and throw people around) yet he uses them only for stupid things. And Apocalypse honestly seemed to have god like powers and yet he had such a stupid plan and he chose the lamest horsemen (as you said except for magneto)? But he also was a terrible leader. He didn't follow up on anything, he didn't care about any event until it was a direct threat. Very very stupid. His previous followers had telekinetic powers to just fold humans mid air (that effect was super neat) and other cool stuff like providing a shield and whatnot.
With a better script this movie could have been more interesting than X2 (for me the best comic book movie), because Magneto's story was well done ("Is this what I am?" was great!) but the whole Prof X/love affair part was very wonky :/ .. Apocalypse moments were so so.. And again they destroyed the whole fucking world, yet apparently everybody suffered from terrible amnesia Why do the newer super hero movies have to destroy the world in such a big scale?
Also it must be super cool to be an x-men: Support a mass murderer (no doubt MILLIONS died during the events of the movie) yet have a last second change of mind and you are absolved from all the bad things you did (I look at you storm, you lazy char) |

Busan was pretty good, but not worth the stupid imdb score... It does nothing OVERLY amazingly, and still suffers from the same old tropes, and the same old frustrating cliches and predictable plot devices... I'd say it's on par with wwz, they're both good zombie flicks.
I think busan warrants a sequel, Spoiler: | I'd love to see where the story goes next. It doesn't NEED another film, but it was good enough I'd like to see more of the outbreak, and where the story could go next as they try to survive - obviously the whole of Korea hasn't broken down to the levels america always seems to 24 hours after the outbreak, and I'd like to see some development on the infection as it clearly effects animals, and we had that revelation of where it started (how did they even find out???) | so I think there's room there for more if the director is so inclined.
Now.
Dr strangelove and the blah blah blah blu-blah. Finally saw it, and honestly? Just like all of kubricks films, it's been massively overhyped, and no I don't care if the cinesnobs come out of the woodwork to tell me how wrong I am. It was OKAY... No more no less. It had some pretty solid satirical work in it, and it was generally engaging, but I felt the ending was rushed and disappointingly lazy compared to the rest of it.

31 - 6/10, typical Rob Zombie movie that tries too hard to shock and offend. Would be 5/10 but it gets an extra point for having a Spanish-speaking Nazi midget who dual wields daggers.

X-men Teen Squad 6,5/10
Not as bad as I thought it would turn out to be. It really helped that I had low expectations for this one. Enjoyed it quite a bit more than my last superhero movies (Fatman vs Superdaft and Civil Bore).
There were some things that bugged me ofcourse some examples:
That pg-13 wolverine scene... fuck sake he is stabbing and slashing around... do it like in the 80's blood, loss of limbs, guts falling out...
The fingers against the head to show they were using psychic abilities.
Deciphering J. Lawrence facial expressions: Was she confused or holding a poop in?
Inconsistent CGI.
But... the total experience entertained me enough to see past most of those things. Somehow these X-gender movies always deliver more than I expect out of them.

Capitain America Civil War - 7/10
Wow, i didnt care much for the avengers movies, but this had some of the best action/fight scenes i have seen since like blade 1/2, they are really well done, and theres a LOT of them, wich many of these movies are lacking, they usualy have like 1 small action scene at the begginng (like xmen apocalypse) and than theres a bunch of talking and they end with a lackluster fight at the end and theres some mid side fights inbetween,.
But in this, man, each fight scene trumps the last one, they are rly well done.
Xmen Apocalipse - 6/10
I dont understand how ppl say this is better than civil war, as someone that didnt care much for other marvel movies compared to the xmen, and i really prefer the xmen to everything else on the MCU, this was just really boring, theres like 2 big action scenes, wich are never as big as anything on civil war, theres a lot of bad sfx and cgi going on, lots of green screen and coreography that makes no sense at all (civil war had excelent coreographed fights and action scenes) and overall it was really boring, lots of talking for a super hero movie, lots of unneeded drama for the sake of it.
I really liked days of the future past but he did screw this up, still love x1,x2, first class and future past, but this was terrible...

everything thats wrong with these live action kids cartoons/comics/toys adaptations.
it had GLIMPSES of being something decent, but it was just far too low aiming and lazy to ever be more than a forgettable rental for the kids on a rainy saturday afternoon.

^^ The X-men Apocalypse 5+/10 reviewers all just gained several derp points for me right there. Seriously how many of these films cover a cyclops or wolverine origin story now 3-4?? and what was the point in this one?
