OK, tried it out so let`s give the game a mini-review.
Pros: The frog isn`t much of a visible part in the game. You still have to bear his annoying face though in the menus and the sound as a selection sound, but in game you can almost forget the whole frog. The coin-based power-up system is neat and the graphics are good, if not great. It also seems to give a good challenge for more experienced players on the harder difficulties. Also as the game costs merely 20 bucks, it offers quite a lot of game for the money. I mean, I`ve seen much worse and much shorter game for double the price-tag.
Cons: The controls are sluggish and sometimes its too damn hard to figure out where the track goes. These two thing put together means that you end up bumping into walls and flying out of the track constantly which is VERY annoying. Also the tracks are boring as hell. The game offers only the city-environment, which gets old after three races. And as said above, the track design is hideous. Music is quite awful techno-beeping and sound-effects are quite bad also.
All put together, it`s a bad game but not as bad as it could have been. I don`t see myself booting up the game for a second time but for a younger Crazy Frog - fan, this game could appeal a lot. 5/10
AMD Sempron 3200+
1 gig Kingston DDR400
MSI Radeon X1950 Pro 256mb AGP
Windows XP Home
Seagate 160 gig HD

That depends, some games have the protection in other DLLs as well. And if a patch doesn't change the main .exe it doesn't mean the engine isn't updated. Allot of times the engine is stored in DLLs.
