@Interinactive
Thanks for your list too! Will look at it later.

The second mod sounds simple but good.
Those kind of mods i'm looking for mostly.

Sadly often i don't realize what feature is missing in a game, until you see mods like that popup. grinhurt

340 hours later I'm done. With the base game, that is.

By all accounts it really must be a terrible Fallout game (haven't played those yet). Even as a nu-Fallout RPG it's subpar, what they've done to the skills and worst of all dialogue was just atrocious and likely there's no going back, having this one apparently selling by the bucketload.

But as an open world FPS with lite lite lite RPG elements it's fucking amazing So Much Win
Especially because nowadays there really aren't much of those that do it for me. It really should have been Fallout: Advanced Wasteland Warrior instead of Fallout 4, though.

I hope Microsoft follows, so proper modding isn't on a quick path to become a thing of the past.

Fuck whoever decided to try to force modding onto consoles.

And if you read a bit further you'd see the author's reply and released new version that is supposed to reduce/eliminate dirty edits.

Gave it a try, it's vault-10-fps-drop-once-inside, but that might be due to the high enemy count. Will know for sure in a while

So we're beta testing a mod that doesn't seem that good in the first place. It just seems easier to skip it.

If it broke mods on release and has shit performance? Yes.

It'll be nice once it eliminates any mod issues and works well. I don't see why people shouldn't complain simply because it's free. How would they have found out about the issues if people just shut up because "hey, freebie".

Meh who cares, dirty edits are trivial to clean and you should check for them each time you install new mods anyway.

Wut.

I don't have the time nor the desire to check every fucking mod in the editor for dirty edits. Laughing
It's the job of the mod creators.

^ That's why you use 3rd party tools that do it for you, LOOT + FO4Edit makes it so easy and quick that there really is no excuse.

Obviously in an ideal world you could trust the mod creators, but if you're downloading less-known, obscure mods, it always pays to do your due diligence. Rarely, if ever, an issue with the top rated stuff ofc.

I agree in those circumstances, it pays off to be careful with those mods. It's just that in this case... it's Nvidia. It doesn't really fall into the "obscure" territory.

Dirty edits in a mod is pretty much to be expected. Most modders nowadays are a lot more diligent with their releases, but mod users should be cleaning their mods anyway. You'll probably have to merge mods anyway.

You mean before as in seen before just on FO4, right?
Because compared to pretty much anything else out there that was far, FAR from impressive.

Mostly agree on the other points BTW, but I understand the reason why people are complaining. This was made to look like nderpia had put some effort behind this when really it seems like they just found a decent mod by one dude and pasted over some AMAZOMG effects on top of it.
Looking at it as the work of some guy, AMAZOMG FX aside it's pretty decent.
