Game runs 90% of time @ 60+ FPS on Ultra (970GTX, 1920x1080).
The only problems I have regarding the technical aspect are rather "small":
• I can't use fullscreen 1080p @ 59.94 Hz, as my monitor refuses to sync (Asus MX259). So I am forced to play @ 50 Hz (wtf!?) or Borderless (which is not recommended performance-wise). This has NEVER happened for me, regardless of displays, videocards or games.
• There's some (micro)stuttering almost constantly on any server while using any graphical setting
Gameplay wise... can't say much. It's as expected: dumbed-down, sometimes fun, chaotic, interesting, fast, stupid, simple, a mix of Battlefront and Battlefield (BC2, BF3, BF4... no idea which one is more similar).

but grrr, just came home and wanted to play a bit. a its not just battlefield servers, even fifa matchmaking isnt working atm

Had my first dip under 60 fps today when a sandstorm hit, still amazed how well this runs. Can't wait for DX12 to work properly.

Experienced the sandstorm for the first time today. Was rather funny.
I was being a tailgunner and noticed someone shouting Darude in chat... I was thinking: wtf is he on about. Suddenly I saw to the right a massive sandstorm rolling in... was crying from laughter. xD
Edit: Meh, too much effort to go onto a server tonight. Time to play something else. |

After playing for about three hours during the day, I'm not sure I'll get the game after. Just doesn't grab my attention in the modes and I fucking suck with the new recoil system on the weapons. Couldn't figure it out and was missing a lot, even from a close range. Feels to me like it's RNG based.
Anyone knows when the open beta ends? Want to squeeze a few more games before really dumping it.

Guns don't feel powerful enough, but it's pretty realistic because as we all know in WW1 times you had to shot people 6 times in the head before they died.
People were just made out of steel back in the day, so kudos to Dice for bringing that in!
It's getting late here and i need to sleep so they also cater to my personal schedule by shutting down their servers for tonight.
Preordered five copies.

Loving the game! Graphics are very good. Do you guys run the game with 100% resolution scale ? If I turn it up to 100% I get around 30 FPS at 1440P on Ultra. So I run it at 50% but it feels a bit off that way.

60% here, at 100% my fps was between 40-55, 1080p.

42% is your real resolution.
50% and 100% are far higher than your actual resolution and will come at significant performance cost.
This seems to be a bug. Keep it at 42% (or higher if you want less aliasing) for now.

They never did in any BF game. Look how infantry in BF3 and 4 survive multiple hits with .50 caliber mounted machine guns or people bunny hopping in BF2 as you empty a mag into them.

Took me almost two days, but I finally managed to play some rounds, being an an Insiderp saved me some time at least.  
Holy Frostbiteballs, the game really is gorgeous. The lighting, texture quality and animations are absolutely spot-on, without mentioning the meaty sound effects and dynamic music, and the fact that it runs at >60fps (Ultra), internal resolution raised up to 50% on my 970 + 5 year old 2500k, the Dice men have pulled a technological miracle here.
As for the game itself, it's more of a mixed bag for me with sad trombone-y sonorities, but overall I quite like it. It feels Battlefield-ish and different at the same time: there is perhaps more 'arcade-ness' than I expected given the historical setting, which is both alright (in a fast, twitchy way) and less alright because of the fact that as per usual, there are almost no tactics involved whatsoever and it's all about improvisation. The Leeroy Jenkinsing is strong with this one.
There's also a lot of focus on automatic weapons (a bit too much), the shooting itself though feels decent. The destruction is just great (fighting inside the the small villages is the best part), so is the dynamic weather, tanks take some time to get used to, but they're damn satisfying. I'm typically not much of a flying guy in BF so my time spent with planes was minimal, but they're ok in a very arcadey way. Sniping is damned godlike at the moment, have conflicted feeling about that xD
I think I'll grab the game at some point, though possibly when the price is reduced.
