“From basic options like full screen, vertical sync, and resolution, to more advanced adjustments like quality settings for motion blur, mirrors, reflection, static and dynamic geometry, we’re giving Windows 10 players the power to play the way they want. Whether playing on the recommended specs or pushing the hardware limits to deliver the ultimate 4K racing experience, Forza Horizon 3 players will have lots of options for making the most of their experience.”

if thats recommended for 60fps @ 1080p its not really a problem i think

but why do they write 14393.101 is needed? that wasnt even in further testing rings internally and the public will get .103 on patchday or even something newer cause they still have enough time

And why aren't bloated requirements a problem? Because it's Microsoft?

I think .101 is the latest public "CU" for Windows 10 outside of slow/fast/release-preview rings and then there's 103 which was replaced yesterday with 105 for the release-preview ring. Smile
(Fixing a couple of issues in 103 and further updating some system files.)

EDIT: That or .101 will be the next path periods cumulative update for non-insider users. Smile

All it needs is raw input and half decent ffb and it would be great fun. The way microsoft do wheel input feels so bad though, like everything is delayed and has inbuilt smoothing and linearity.
They probably just copy paste the same systems from a controller and call it a day

They just activated the backpedaling mode after the backlash, and redacted the shameful m.i.a. PC demo situation. It will be slightly less shameful since a demo will be released...but only after launch.

We know fans are curious about the state of a Windows 10 PC demo for Forza Horizon 3.
A standalone “Forza Horizon 3” PC demo will be released sometime after launch. We invite all players who are eager to play Forza on PC to try “Forza Motorsport 6: Apex”, available now in the Windows 10 Store for free. The Windows 10 version of “Forza Horizon 3” has been built in lockstep with our learnings from “Forza Motorsport 6: Apex”, which just released out of Beta last week and added wheel support.

We’re dedicated to bringing the quality and innovation our fans expect from Forza to the PC, and we’re confident players will have a fantastic experience with “Forza Horizon 3” at launch.

It has to be a digital copy from any store, it cannot be a retail copy of the game as the disk versions do not get the Xbox Play Anywhere bonus.
