I confirm - if you set video settings to match your hw - it's very stable.
Well, that's cool and all, but if it fills up memory with shit causing it to crash sometime, it can run well all you want...
increase your page file
I set mine to min 8GB and max 16GB
my system commit rose from 15GB to 25GB, and the game reaches 15GB so it didn't crash anymore
I don't have 16 GB of RAM, I don't see how this would work. This is a reason I didn't even buy the game yet.
The following fixes are in this patch:
• Fixed crashes caused by third-party programs interfering with the game.
• Fixed crash that occurred after viewing the intro videos.
• Fixed issue that could cause a crash at the end of the Prague intro scene.
• Fixed mouse invert setting not being displayed correctly in the options menu.

even if you have 8gb of ram, increasing your page file to 16GB will dedicate more memory for the game, the goal is to have system commit around 20GB or more
in theory you are allocating space for your os to use when your RAM is full, with the drawback that it's about 10 times slower on your HDD

Oh so that still would work? Still contemplating getting it then, considering my rig it should it run well enough. An official fix for the leak would be best, although I believe they won't fix that (Just Cause 3!). Just looking to run it for a good while without any crash.
@h0rnyfavn If it's anything like HR, you just pick the most recent. It's just a diagnostic of the emotions within the conversations, so it changes a lot.
Total is the amount of pagefile-backed virtual address space in use, i.e., the current commit charge. This is composed of main memory (RAM) and disk (pagefiles). The corresponding performance counter is called "Committed Bytes".
Limit is the maximum possible value for Total; it is the sum of the current pagefile size plus the physical memory available for pageable contents (this excludes RAM that is assigned to non-pageable areas). The corresponding performance counter is called "Commit Limit".
Peak is the highest amount that the total commit charge has reached since the operating system was last started.
Couldn't you just throw something non-lethal on them or some other way to wake them up without it having to be another AI that discovers the body?
(Stun-gun to the groin?)
I do remember Deus Ex 1 being a bit like that too but I think NPC's in that game eventually woke up on their own.
Great game so far, in gameplay terms it is a great sequel. Performance on high is ok-ish for i5 2500 k with GTX 1060 and 12 gb ram(40-60 fps with triple buff), though clearly not optimized but hey, what IS these days.
The unbelievable thing is not only that they introduced an online shop for SP, but they gave ONE TIME USE DLC/Season pass shit or whatever it is called. ONE. TIME. USE.(one save use but still...)
Jesus.. they are selling Praxis in this shop.. I mean.. wtf ahahah... In a few days anyone will eb able to get any skill\praxis or whatever via cheatengine..that is if they want to..

What a disgrace..
I did. Last night. Really wanted that Titan shield earlier.

Well, I can confirm that in my old age (41), my FPS skills are in the shitter. I died at least 4 times at the end of the first mission in the sandstorm.
I did some fiddling with the settings and ran the benchmark a couple of times (hopefully it's reliable), I found out something nice. The difference in IQ between LoD and textures on v. high vs. high is noticeable, but the fps hit is barely 2 fps.
If you stay away from MSAA, contact shadows and anything labeled Ultra, the game will look great and run pretty good.
