I guess it depends on a region+how many bought dat game in this region. I'm still getting 13+MB Very Happy

Eh maybe, who knows. But now it's fixed. Downloading at my highest speed (3.2mb/s) so I guess it was a queue thing? Anyways hopefully we get to play in a couple of minutes.

I suggest if you are getting slow installation to just wait it out a bit and just click play game couple of times while you 're at it.

Not entirely true. 2xMSAA can be an easy 20% drop (or even more) with deferred rendering.

Feels like it has huge amounts of mouse acceleration.

My mouse is set to 400DPI and I had to turn in game sensitivity down to the lowest setting (6) for my mouse to not be too fast.

...think I'll wait a bit for the first patches/tweaking/drivers

Right now my biggest pet peeve is that IMO there's something odd going on with the mouse sensivity that's throwing me a bit of, doesn't seem to be 1:1 between horizontal and vertical.
Had to turn off MSAA4x (didn't try 2x though), else the framerate dipped to the 50's now and then right on the area in which you're dropped down.

I'll give it a try for a bit maybe beat the tutorial or a little bit further if it allows for exploration but yeah I intended to wait for the first patch and hopefully also DirectX 12 support before getting serious with this game. Very Happy
(Took a bit for Rise of the Tomb Raider to get sorted out though and Hitman is a bit so-so even if you take into consideration that it's be..episodic. )

Performance is ok over here.
i5 4690k @ 4.5ghz
R9 390
16gb ram
SSD
Drivers 16.7.3, not the newest (16.8.2)

Running at 1920x1080, I picked the "High" preset based on comments saying there was little visual difference with Ultra, but I tweaked the settings. I enabled Tessellation, increased AF from 4x to 16, increased the Texture to Ultra, disabled DOF and Abberation, increased the FOV. I think that's about it.
The game doesn't have a benchmark even tho they said it would.

FPS on main menu: 88. FPS in opening mission: went as low as 59, averages 65 and higher.
We'll see if it gets worse in Prague, it might.

Yes, the mouse accel seems to be fucked, no matter what settings, it feels kinda off. Weird.

That's with a i5 2500k and 970 (both OC).
Settings are on Very High, with Blur, Chromatic Abberation and AA disabled.

Also GPU is constantly at full load.

What a disgusting piece of shit performance from a AAA company. Laughing Laughing Laughing

// Also Reshade is not working for me.
I want to use it instead of the absolutely ugly ingame sharpening.
Any tips?

Exe/game version is 1.0.524.6, right?
Finished pre-loading it this morning and I didn't get any 3GB patch update so far... maybe it was included? Confused

Yeah only the data depot with the exe and other binaries got a small update shortly before the game was unlocked. Smile

Can also go into the "depotcache" folder in the Steam "SteamApps" folder and see if all the cache files are there, Steam deletes the ones that are fully unpacked so if it has processed some of them then it's unpacking albeit slowly. Smile
(Or you can delete them and force Steam to download the rest of the data directly over the net.)

ReShade seems to work fine here (though SMAA does some nasty things to fonts), you sure you installed it in the right place?

Yea i guess so. I used the Reshade 1.1.0 tool and installed the files into: \Deus Ex Mankind Divided\retail

Could you please upload your Reshade package? Very Happy

Both 1.1.0 and 2.0 seem to work for me. I just used the ReShade + SweetFX package from the ReShade page (http://reshade.me/).
Drop ReShade.fx, Sweet.fx, SweetFX folder and ReShade64.dll into that "retail" folder and rename the ReShade64.dll to dxgi.dll.
Should work from there.
