Looks nice. Considering its Platinum Games, i guess the chances of a PC release are not that low.

Set in the world of Granblue Fantasy, the game is produced by Cygames’ Koichi Haruta, directed by Cygames’ Tetsuya Fukuhara, features character design by Hideo Minaba, and music by Nobuo Uematsu and Tsutomu Narita.

The game is being made with the intention of multiplayer. The trailer shows four characters fighting alongside each other. However, there will also be a single-player scenario mode, and they’re being careful not to make the game difficult. The current progress of development is 10 percent, according to producer Haruta, and the plan is to continue increasing the amount of characters, so the game is expected to be large-scale. A release date and platform were not announced, but Haruta mentioned that he “bought a new PC for this” during the event.

Could very well just be a new PC for development.

They have to be careful not to make games difficult these days? Razz
(Having grown up during the 80's "Nintendor Hard" as it was called for those NES games and whatnot yeah I'm used to games being a challenge.)
(Why back in my day it was the games that provided a good physical and mental challenge, not the players that were physically and mentally challenged...)

(Though I'm also used to games being some 2 -3 hours long once you actually got the mechanics down though even for the NES there were exceptions of course. )

I don't think he would mention that they very likely buy new development hardware all the time it sounded more like he was talking about his personal gaming pc.

This was apparently filmed from a stage event at a convention it's not official.

As for a PC release the publisher CyGames likes PC so I wouldn't be worried. They're also responsible for the Zone of Enders HD Remaster and that too is coming to Steam.

Unlikely as a PS4 Japan release it wouldn't be financially sustainable, the times of niche games like this only releasing on 1 (home) platform and only in Japan are over.

Who knows Xseed just imploded and several key members who worked on the trails games left which only leaves NISA and we all know they can't handle a project like this.

In other news a PC version Granblue is apparently under consideration (translation from a Famitsu interview):

It's a coop ARPG if i understand it right so you can probably either play it with friends or let the AI control the party similar to Tales.

Wasn't it just 1 who worked on trails who left? A guy named Tom who accepted a teacher position in Japan? Can't see anything else.

Nah they also fired Brittany out of the blue and another editor named Nick Colucci left awhile ago. So now most of the key figures behind their Falcom localizations are gone.

seems like they sure want to do PC version for both Relink and the ArcSys fighting one

(This applies to both Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Granblue Fantasy Versus.) We would also like to release for Steam (PC). We already have some titles for PlayStation 4 that are being developed in-house such as the tentatively titled Project Awakening, and as a company we will certainly continue to put our strength into console.

Either there are multiple protagonists during the story, or they've just switched which character you have as party leader.

Got to say, it's nice to see a company actually turn the Gatcha money into actual games and other media. Most of the time that money just goes into investments.

Yep, kudos to Cygames.
The good thing is, with all that infinite mobile money, a company like this can actually risk letting a game be developed by a few auteurs instead of the bland western philosophy of design by commitee.
Character designs by Minaba, who designed alot of FF 5,6,9 and 12 + music by Uematsu, who...well it's fucking Uematsu nuff said.
