The only DLCs worth a season pass pre-order were the DLCs for GTA4 and WItcher 3.

kinda funny that out of all these Denuvo-infected AAAs the one with the potentially best Season pass is Homefront 2 aka the supposedly worst game of the bunch

Nope. If Missing Link, which was quite short, is anything to judge by, even two "story missions" are hardly worth 30 bucks.

Missing Link wasn't short for a mission, and IIRC it was potentially one of the longest in the game.
However, DE:HR had the short and trivial Tong mission - and if that's the kind of thing they're offering here - that's just a bad joke.
But we have no way of knowing.

i'm gonna probably wait like 3 years and then buy goty edition. Main game's price is okay but that dlcs and the pricing of them... yuck
It doesn't deserve 30 bucks by all means. Hell not even 15 usd is right price for that imo.

I remember Missing Link being 6-7 hours long, but I might be thinking about something else though.

Most Season Passes offer only shit.
And i doubt those two missions will be worthy at all for that price - considering Sqeenix is involved.

Hindu season pass is ridiculously cheap but until there's more data on the missions it's a no-no.
Hopefully the game will be so good that I'll buy it in the next few days, that's how it worked with TW3 after all

What reviews have you been reading? The three reviews that said the game is average? Does that mean all the other reviews are BS? Pretty much every review states how big Prague is and how detailed it is. Judging by the reviews, Detroit in HR was a joke compared to Prague in MD. It's also pretty clear they are going for a trilogy, or even longer series.
You either trust/believe in reviews and take the consensus (bigger, better, sexier with a slightly worse story), or you just say fuck reviews and play the game to see yourself. Cherry picking crap will make everything crap.

No, that sounds about right. I think that's quite a long time for a single mission.
So, if these two missions add 12-15 hours to the overall game, which is supposed to be 25-40 hours long - I think that's a fair price.
I don't really care about the other stuff, and I think all weapons should have been a part of the main game.
It depends on how they plan to integrate the missions. If they're part of the main story - and they don't release them for months - then I think that's pretty stupid.

From the second link:
Quote: | It should be stated that Mankind Divided is shorter than its predecessor, comparable to that of Invisible War. Completing all of the side quests and main missions, along with exploring virtually everything in the world took us roughly twenty to twenty-five hours, and then only eight hours on our second go around while still accomplishing everything. |

My main problem is with how it took 5 years to develop a game that is supposedly smaller
than HR and said to end abruptly in a manner that makes it seem like SE is chopping up the game.
And it's only been clear that they are going for a trilogy or longer series AFTER the reviews started stating this. Before, there was no indication of MD being the start of a trilogy or whatever SE has in store...
But of course you can choose to be wilfully blind about the criticisms and revel in the glory of Prague being more detailed than Detroit
1 and 2 are still amazing.

We were talking about Missing Link and how it's 6-7 hours long.
Then I used the word *if* - meaning they could be 12-15 combined - or they could be crap like the Tong mission.
Key here is that we don't know, and it's a bit early to start whining.

It's also too early to start getting excited about If-scenearios, that probably won't happen.

These things differ from person to person. I remember completing the original Deus Ex in 20-25 hours. Then I started replaying it not too long ago - and I could easily have spent 50 hours with it.
It depends on playstyle and how much you enjoy taking in the sights.
If you go Rambo on DE:HR - you could easily complete it in 20 hours, even if you complete all the side missions.
However, if you play slow, using stealth - and go out of your way to experience all the details - you could easily double that or more.
It's just too soon to tell the truth about MD.

Oh, so by being open and not ruling the positive scenario out - I'm getting excited?
I guess if you're a particularly depressing person, you might think like that.
Personally, I like to know things before I start whining about them.

Yeah I thought I correctly remembered it not being that long. Checked it up and DC version was 41 hours for me.

Do you know what "cherry picking" means? Go to metacritic, pick a random selection of reviews, you get a completion time of 30-40 hours. All reviews also say how detailed Prague is and how much it is filled with content.
HR was obviously the beginning of a long going story and series. They've been talking about a "universe" from the get go. You end the game with total chaos ffs, nothing much is resolved. Sadly, it seems to be the same in MD. What I can fault them with, again based on reviews only, is the lack of any character progression for Jensen.
Your last sentence is completely idiotic since you base your "criticism" on again, cherry picked (search for the definition on google), reviews.

How unsurprising. Didn't need to wait long for you to get into the typical "Mister_s" behaviour.
The Deus Ex Universe was called so because it would include a host of other related things like books, comics, mobile games, merchandise etc. Each and every Deus Ex game has ended with the world falling into complete chaos if you've forgotten about it.
And again harping on about the hub. A game can have quantity and quality if the developers make enough of an effort. Witcher 3 is an excellent recent example.
1 and 2 are still amazing.
