The Vault-Tec DLC also leaked via Cs.rin, and yeah as to the above post I think this port is Bethesda.net exclusive for the moment.

It does work without the launcher on my end. it just tells you that its in offline mode and you cant use the shop. I simply launched the .exe in the main directory.

When they mentioned this coming to the PC and I saw the picture of the new Fallout 4 DLC I got excited as I thought they redid the graphics for the game which would have been nice for the PC release.

on android the cloud save feature was an option on the save slot screen, not a launcher feature

so I installed the PC version
there is indeed no cloud saves
and I don't want the whole save corruption event again, so I will not play it

I bet they probably didn't even bother to make it a real port. Instead it runs in a standalone Android emulator VM.

actually it does look good for a pc release
gfx looks crispier, and there are more settings, including hotkeys

If it's a 1-to-1 port of the mobile version, then it's not gonna be bad in that regard. Just that it's very meh and you'll get bored fast. On mobile, it's a good toilet game. For PC, it's way too simplistic.

2015 mobile game finally making its way to Steam, and its eyeing your pocket change.
Bethesda didn't support the game nearly as much as they indicated early on, even though it made them a lot of money.
The game reached a brick wall for me; and it didn't help much with the info gathered from mobile hacks with regards to lunchboxes (paid loot rolls). In the game you have to do specific tasks, often repetitive, in order to earn a lunchbox. Let's just say there's no guarantees, actually more often than not they contain basic shit, not anything fancy or special - and their impact on gameplay later on is tiny. With crafting materials introduced, those were also included in the lunchbox loot rolls, and watered it down a lot. In my opinion getting loot was a lot more fun if it had tons more unique loot, someone should have just sat there producing assets for this game full-time, and it'd at least be 'worth it' visually to have new things to look at.
Also lol @ the game giving you the 'unique'/named characters multiple times. So you have several of the same person, that at first felt special to get/collect, but it completely ruins it when you think you get someone new in a random event or in loot and it turns out it is the person you had like 3 version of in your vault from earlier.
I liked the introduction of pets with stat-boosts and the droids that help with resource gathering, although you should have been able to craft droids for work/bug-control/mission-runs by yourself instead of having to rely on lunchboxes for Mr. Handy...
The 'away' missions/quests was boring, and after the first repeated mission it was very clear how tedious it was.
Anyway. Mobile game. I liked it when it came out. I never used to play anything on my phone. A 'big' PC game focusing on this stuff is still something I'd be interested in.
On PC: Multiplayer should be a possible way to play. I'd also like a hybrid of the view presented in Fallout Shelter / XCOM base-building, and first-person view.
