Some nice changes. Especially that PvP is no longer that much Gear dependant.
If i were jobless, i would have tried WoW with the coming addon again after so many years.
Don't need to be jobless. It's basically made to be played by anyone, at any rate.. except high end raiding, but there hasn't been any point to that anymore either for ages now, so yeah ..
Thing is with pvp , ilvl will still count, so that hardcore pvper (or pro), or that mythicguy will still have higher avg ilvl than a random battlegrounder and still stomp him. I bought it, just to lvl a dh tho, most likely just like with wod, quit after the first month.

Yea maybe it's true. But i tend to invest most of my free time when i play a MMORPG.
And i prefer to use that time instead to reduce my backlog.
I was on the same boat as you. I didn't play wow since 2004 and a month ago, after a lot of peer pressure, I submitted a ticket to blizz to see if they could recover my old char on the Argent Dawn server. And they actually delivered! I didn't even have access to that old e-mail account, just telling them my characters names and levels was enough!
I left that char as it is (some people spotted me and told me that my char is vintage since a lot of the items I have don't exist since the burning crusade) and created a warlock, bought a wow token to get 80k gold so I could buy some fancy gear and I'm having a blast.
patch is live but fuck it, addons arent up to date, was a pain to cruise trough everything without them; i see they removed only gold missions in the garrison and you get way fewer salvage crates (now they are large instead of big and give resources and not gear), but everything else seems unchanged
Returned for the patch, but still... everything looks and feels old. I found no incentive to play more than 10-15 minutes. I feel there's no content worth spending time with (well, there isn't, obvious, I know), but also everything feels so... outdated.
• Garrison is now a piece of shit content that will soon turn useless thanks to Blizzard's custom to turn everything from previous expansions into pure abandoned content
• Performance is crap (but that will prob. change soon, same story with most major updates)
• Same stupid discussions in chat, same shit all over again with everything becoming obsolete before expansion
• Pre-patch the price for a stack of item enhancements for your garrison followers would to to aroud 90g, and now it's a few copper... /facepalm, talk about nerfing ways to acquire gold...

You picked the wrong time to return for the patch, its just the transmog and class changes right now.

Same. I received few days free via email. Logged in, and shortly after exit and uninstalled.
It's likely good game for new players, but after so many hours played in recent years I feel it's best to stay away with good memories.

"Just"... ?
Class changes are important as they will modify some core gameplay mechanics. I also see new moves from Blizzard in this regard (see Action Cam).
The transmog changes are, as always, years later. Blizzard fucked up hard on this and are using these "new" features in order to fill in the "breath of fresh air" (missing content) that the game needs. It IS, indeed a big addition in this new form, but it's just another incentive to farm same old shit.
All in all, just like tolanri said, this might cater to younger (both in age and in WoW experience) audiences, but for an old, bored, vanilla fart like me, this is far from being appealing.

You know, this WoW 'saturation' might also be influenced presently, for me, by the fact that I appreciate (still) Guild Wars 2 for how well it has done and evolved:
• daily worthy rewards just for logging in
• gathering and crafting that is (gold) efficient even at level 1-10
• dynamic combat system that doesn't get old for me
• account bound system with everything shareable between chars
• daily rewards and achievements that can be done in 10 minutes or 1 hour (depends on how much you want to get involved)
• accessible for both casuals and hardcore (see dungeons, raids)
• jumping puzzles (still doing them)
• dynamic events (idem)
• world bosses (idem)
• bounties
• (optional) crafting of ascended or legendary gear - NOT necessarly required like in WoW
• an economy that takes time to understand but offers great rewards once you get around it (farming of gold doesn't only involves time, like in WoW)
• tons of achievements that actually REWARD the player
• the feel that anything you do is rewarded and worthy (you can roam low-level areas and still be rewarded accordingly yo your level 80)
Meh, sry, long rant. Just disappointed with how lacking feels WoW atm.

Not sure what your point is. He complained there weren't any new content to play, I said it is because this wasn't actually a new content patch, that comes weeks later. Ergo it is a bit too early to return to give another go.
The problem here is that a lot of the classes special mechanics and stuff come from the Artefactweapon skills, as such only half of what makes the classes different is live atm.
world of dressup is now complete , 5 buttons all u need, next expansion we give u autoplay function, sit and watch how ur character owns everything with one mouseclick

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Something mentioned in the original article, but not PCinvasion, is that Blizzard has added a "confirmation window" in the most recent patch. So if someone trick you into running that command, you'll receive a prompt asking if you really want to do this or not.
the Demon Hunter will be available to play from 9 August as part of the Legion pre-expansion updates. They will go live with maintenance on 9 August and early 10 August in Europe.
The Demon Hunter will launch alongside the Demon Invasions event
