Probably not.
But check MMORPG.com you'll have more chance finding people who play or played it over there.

It is in the style of torchlight gfx in my eyes. Maybe a bit more bland, and seems an odd style for the gametype. Probably easier to manage I guess.

Was hoping for more.

"cross-platform MMO"
Meh, can only be a shit game. Probably filled with microtransactions and over simplified gameplay too.

Well i godda say, it looks really neat and fun. But from what i found out, the alpha is only 4 weeks to go, then theres a pause to beta or something and all progress is lost until the final. 50$ for that?

Hey kids, do you remember a time where developers and publishers hired people to playtest their games in order to report bugs and improve quality? I do! Do you know that these people used to be paid to do that since it was a regular job? Amazing! Did you know that nowadays YOU have to pay the DEVELOPERS in order to bugtest their games? Amazing!

$50 alpha ffs Rolling Eyes Whoever came up with the idea of early access is a friggin' genius. Get the customer to pay the developer for the "right" to report bugs. Rolling Eyes

Brought these practices up before... but hell even here it had people defending it. Razz

Been play/beta testing since around 94 I think, never had much problems getting invites or even free games to do so... but the past years it's either: pay to test for us or be some youtube derp...

Progress! Laughing

oh the good old times when you got invited for closed Betas and alphas and even offered positions in those games. I even was offered to become a ingame support for EVE when it was released, because of how good i did during the beta lol.

But couldn't imagine doing that 8hrs/day back then, even with the prospect of it eventually becoming a paid spot ... oh well .. coulda shoulda woulda ..

Those times are over ...

That trailer was actually quite good. Too bad the game seems like a zergfest.

Bob, did you actually play it? Is it any good?

Didn't play it yet. Sad

It indeed looks rather interesting though. Apparently it will also be buy2play, so that should in theory warrant some higher quality than a straight f2p game.

Maybe after it leaves beta there will be some free trial.

The concepts kind of remind me of a more structured version of Shadowbane. I wonder if you can build and destroy cities.

Not bad but i recently found out that i actually like theme-parks way more then sandbox MMOs from playing BDO and ArcheAge so i will stick to FFXIV for my MMO needs.

I've been very interested in this game, but I hoped they would have an open beta at some point. Paying 30us to try it first puts me off a bit. On top of that, the "premium" status for subscribers makes me worry about balance in this type of game.

I was dumb enough to buy into this on a whim.

I don't know what's wrong with me.

I mean, MMO + mobile platform really should have been enough to scare me away.

Turned out it was even worse than I feared.

There is a difference though of being critical (but still enjoying a game), or just disliking nearly every PC game. Wink

There's also a difference between believing something to be the case, and it being the case Smile

But I'm finding it deliciously ironic that I'm considered too critical on the Hump - of all places.

I mean, seriously.

Casus, mate.

What exactly was shit about it?

I want to put my curiosity to rest, I will most probably not get it, but still. What was so bad?
