As i said i got the hyper evo for a year now, might go for that macho if its that much better!
As for the fans, the local store sugested i put a back case artic cooling f12 fan, are these fans any good? should i get one for the front too?
One of the best fans for moving air are Scythe Glide Streams (available in eg. 120mm & 140mm sizes). They are if not better than at least twice expensive Noctuas. But don't put them on heat sink since their air pressure is quite weak. Macho is coming with very good fan and you don't need to replace it.
Probably the best place to compare different fans with tons of data:

Thanks for the help my friend, unfortunatly its too late, already ordered, its on its way, 6700k, asus z170 pro gaming, and as for the fans i ordered the be quiet pure wings 2 the local store said they were better than corsair so i went with that, i totaly also forgot to ask them to use artic thermal paste...is that a deal breker? Ill call them asap in the morning...
So after having the new computer for a few days now, i have noticed that even though in stress tests with no OC and normal gaming my temperatures are within the optimal range (35º idle and anywhere from 55º to 65º gaming) i noticed that when im idling at 35º and i open a program or chrome or whatever, the temp has a 1 sec spike to 55º/60º, is this normal behaviour for skylake?..
I have 2 bequiet 120mm fans spinning at 800rpm till 55º mark than they boost to 1200 or more depending on demand.
And i have the evo 212 at 800rpm on similar fan curves

sadly yes. same here and same on a friends pc. i even bought a new cooler because of this.
on old cpus it was only the case when i had way too less paste on the cpu or the cooler was not fitting right so at first i thought i did something wrong or it's the coolers fault.
after receiving the new cooler and putting it on multiple times it was still happening.
a friend told me it's the same with his.
apparently intel failed somehow. the paste under the heatspreader or something else must be shit. you can fix it if you remove the heatspreader from the cpu. there are videos on youtube and stuff but this is nothing for me and als the guarantee would be gone.
you will learn to live with it. it's kinda ugly with those spikes if you look at it but you will not notice and downsides from it.
Should i try to decrease the overall temps to be on the safe side a bit more or just roll with it?
I was just playing quantum break, and even though it is at 60-65º i do get these spikes to 73-75, is this harmful in anyway? I can try and boost the hyper evo at higher temps to see if it helps..
even with spikes my cpu doesn't go above 70. (mostly not even 65)
but yea there is no reason to be worried. still it sucks. no one wants something like this in the case. you could buy an AMD card then too.
intel fucked it up here. i mean i bought a cooler for 80 fucking euros and still get those temps and spikes. crazy
Yeah as far as i can see the spikes at an idle temp of 35 go up to 65 max to 70, if u were just gaming and cpu is still hot, it can go up to 75..
I was thinking of getting a better cooler but since u have a way better cooler than me and still get this, ill hold off for a full case/cooler upgrade next year.
Opening chrome gets that spike, but opening microsoft edge does not cause this..
im using afterburner or aida64 (but mostly it's afterburner for me)
picture added.
there you can see the cpu spikes around 49° as soon as i open chrome but then it's going down to 29-31° again in under a second.
(gpu pretty hot today tho damn summer, normaly it's around 40-41° but atleast it has a steady line)
I tested this in like 10 monitor aplications so far, hwinfo , hwmonitor, aida, you name it, and they all show these spikes, im just glad that im not the only one, but still, pretty dodgy stuff by intel..
In BIOS, I set low temp target 50C, med temp target to 65C amd high temp target to 75C. Low target RPM is around 600rpm (40%-ish), around 900rpm (60%) on med temp target and max rpm (100%) on high.
With this config, my fans are almost always constant 600rpm. Only when I run AIDA benchmark it ramp up to around 900rpm and then after initial spike decreases to around 700-750rpm. Opening programs or games does nothing in terms of fan speed.
I have Z170 Pro Gaming, 6700k @ 4.6GHz / 1.32V, Fractal Design R5 Case with default case fans and one additional intake noctua (which is not shown in stress test graph for some reason), NH-D14 CPU cooler.
